Do not Stay in Weinprop properties, What a **** of a place...!!!!! I stayed at Weinprop Properties for approximately three years, and my experience was largely negative. Throughout my stay, I often felt uncomfortable due to ongoing issues at the property. At the 12th Road location, there appeared to be little to no security. In my first year, my belongings were ****** while I was away, and no one could account for how the person gained access. Communication was consistently poor, as tenants were rarely informed about issues affecting the property and were expected to find out on their own. There were several instances at night where individuals attempted to enter rooms, which made the environment feel unsafe. Maintenance was also lacking, and despite the poor quality of some interior finishes, tenants were still expected to pay additional costs without clear explanations. Billing was another concern. Water charges fluctuated significantly, for example from R60 one month to R2000 the next, without any prior notice or clarification. I moved out two months ago due to these ongoing issues. Since then, I have emailed repeatedly regarding the return of my deposit, but I have not received any response. During my stay, electricity was sometimes switched off even when rent had been paid on time, which added to the frustration and inconvenience.

I would like to compliment Tracy for the good service she provided even while on leave, we moved in yesterday and she was very helpful when we kept on enquiring firstly about our fingerprints then about us not being able to buy electricity, she went above her call of duty and we really appreciate it, we thought we were going to be without electricity until they reopen on the 5th but she escalated the matter until it was resolved. Keep up the good work Tracy and enjoy the rest of your holidays.

Pathetic!!!! Paying rent ON TIME ALWAYS for 7 years now. Needed assistance on a new Water Meter Unit as it is outdated. Ideal Prepaid referred us to Weinprop. It was brought under their attention on the 4th of December 2025. It is now the 18th of December 2025 and still nothing was received. My husband called Gila after which she said she made arrangements with me for Friday, the 19th in which she did not. The "driver" made the arrangements with me for Friday as he thought I did receive it as it is two weeks now. That was the reason for me contacting Gila as I started stressing. The "driver" said he had car problems that why he couldn't get to me. How could we be sure the meter will then be delivered???? Because of us sitting AGAIN almost without water, Gila simple said: "I would have but your husband just threatened me so for now please contact Ideal directly.". In other words, we WONT BE GETTING ANY HELP AS IDEAL PREPAID REFERRED US BACK TO THEM!!!!!! My husband did not even threaten her! He did however feel frustrated as Christmas is around the corner and the offices closes. So, I do believe ANYONE WOULD FEEL VERY FRUSTRATED IN A CASE LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. THINK MORE THAN TWICE THAN TO RENT AT BLUE FALCON IN GERMISTON!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE ARE MORE ISSUES THAN HELP AND ASSISTANCE ON THE PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dealt with AMOGELANG MATOMELA the Property Manager, she is very rude and speaks to you as if she is talking to her child. Not to mention her hanging up on me!!!!! Very unprofessional and I feel sorry for Weinprop Tenants

Management has no sense of urgency to issues affecting the building for new tenants. I’ve been begging everyday for my plumbing maintenance issues to be attended to since I moved in, 5 days in and still no care to actually sort the issue out. Very disappointed.

Anything that you need , be prepare to go look for it in the streets cause the satff and building manager wont assist you in any way. They will lock you outside and leave you in the cold forgetting that you pay rent there

I moved in to kew on the 29th few hours after moving in my son got sick from the rusted not closing well windows and door. Worst rent ever , the cold tha comes from the windows and door. We got blocked noses and flue cos of that room

What a Nightmare of a Company. l rented one of their shops in Orange groove (urban Heights), when l moved in the rent was supposed to be R6000, however in kept on going up every month till it reached R8500 in less than a year. After my lease was a year old, l gave them a notice , and l vacated their premises end May. l was told l will be getting my deposit back after a month (June), but till today 23July l have not received the payment. I have tried contacting them numerous times both on calls and emails, without getting any help. These people they don't care about their clients, if you have a query they either bluetick you or pass you around their colleagues at the office and they won't help either. Maureen was the lady helping me and according to her she did everything that was supposed to be done and sent it to the bookkeeper Jarred 2 weeks ago, That Jarred guy is the one holding the funds and he doesn't want to realese them. If you ask the receptionist to put you through him, she refuses. if you ask to come to the office, she tells you not to bother because you won't be assisted either. These people are ********s, if you don't pay your rent or time or if its short they don't hesitate to switch off your electricity and send a team of mentainance to come a change your door locks. You won't be a place to sleep, or bath until you pay all of their money thats when you get new keys. I am very surprised at how they're dragging their feet to refund Deposits, the audacity of not wanting to pay back deposits, while they're treating their tenants like animals, after the 7th they are always running around changing tenants locks, making their lives miserable. This Company is ****, if you love peace don't dare sign up with them.
