My husband has a legal cover from Workerslife and I had a case going on which cost me +/-R100 000. And workers like only paid us R5500! When the maximum they can pay is R60000. I am so disappointed and I would like to warn everyone who has a legal cover with this company that they are on their own if they happen to have a legal matter.

I noticed on my salary advice that an amount of R199 is being debited by workers life and I contacted them as I did not have any policy with workers life.I spoke to one of their consultants on the 24 November 2025,she adviced me to write a letter of cancellation and refund,I did that and sent it to them as she also confirmed I don’t have a policy with them and doesn’t understand how it happened.I call them almost everyday but no solution as this is *****.I don’t know where to get answers now and how to stop this debit order and get my money back from Workers life.

I am a subscriber of Workerslife legal. I asked Workerslife to assist me with a lawyer for a civil matter, they gave me a lawyer that is new in my area and she wrote a legal opinion regarding my matter which I totally disagree with and I asked for a second opinion from a reputable legal practitioner in Civil matters. They appointed a ******** lawyer for a civil matter to give an opinion and I told them that the lawyer they appointed last year he did not help me on another matter. He is always busy and not available and when we do meet, he does not take instructions. Weeks and months passed by without any progress and when I enquire from him, he tells me he is waiting for an increase from Workerslife. I asked Workerslife to give me someone else for a second opinion and they refused stating that the rotten lawyer is the only one they have to give me a second opinion. I said to noxolo dube from legal department, you keep on giving me this rotten lawyer. Why? I wrote an affidavit asking Workerslife to change this lawyer but you keep on ignoring me. Is this the service Workerslife prides themselves with. This noxolo lady she is the alpha and omega of the legal department at Workerslife and I can't get through to her. I am in a process to borrow money so that I can get a lawyer that is clued up with civil matters because Workerslife represented by noxolo dube has failed me

I recently discovered a Bonlife Funeral Fund policy (Member No: FO01199029) confirmed in a 2008 Bonlife letter. The policy included a tombstone benefit and a R1,000 funeral discount. I’ve contacted Workerslife, who were the underwriters at the time, to confirm the policy and process the claim — but I’ve received no response. This delay and lack of feedback are unacceptable. I urge Workerslife to urgently confirm their responsibility and settle this matter in line with the policy and insurance regulations.

Worker'slife did not pay my claim correctly out. They con me out of 6400. They instead deduct installment of a policy that are lapse more then three years and people on the policy that lapse died more than two years back. How can you deduct arrears of three years where no initial installment was paid. With the death of the people on this policy I didn't even attempt to claim as this policy was null and void as not a single premium was paid. The worker who wrote the policy my instructions was clear if not going through PERSAL I don't want the policy.

My funerAl policy take forever to pay out. Several visits to their branch in Gqberha or whatsapp conversation with manager Ntombi did not yield àny positive results for me. Im thinking of closing all policies including legal services and terminate my POPCRU membership
