Initially seller(David) didn't respond on emails from Mary-Anne Whitby Customer Service Agent and later Morne van Zyl - Customer Service Team Leader +27 10 005 6200, www.bidorbuy.co.za, took over whereby David said he will agree on a refund of R1500....---- On Thu, 7 Jul 2022 15:05:52 +0200 david@dftech.co.za wrote ---- Hi Zrik I have spoken to Morne now & i will assist you to a point with all of this. Send this back to me and i will refund 75% (R 1500) of this amount since it is over 30 Days and i do not know what other damage or things have been done to this. Thanks David Seller didn't CLEARLY mark device needs to be Returned to Retailer. Also why has money been paid over before confirmation was received from buyer that device was in a working condition? Seller said after his remarks in point 2. " I will authorize BOB to Refund this back to your BOB Account once the Item has been Received". Again changing his terms and is why I wanted to be REFUNDED IN FULL - R2100 + shipping cost of R99 to return goods to Selle = R2200.00

I am new to Bid or Buy and as a first time seller I was not sure of all the do's and dont's of the platform. None the less, I am also not stupid when selling something. A week after selling my first item I still haven't received my funds. I have made numerous phone calls...at my own expense and sent the requested documents and still no payment. When phoning the call center they tell you all is fine and payment was made. LIE! They say they send you emails... NOTHING. I even had to give an alternative email address. Morne from Bid or Buy says that they cannot make an exception because all the documents were not sent, but when on the phone to customer care they assure you that all is good. Money was paid. Lies!! Now I have to resend the documents and wait until Monday before I can get my own money from them. Really ****ty customer care service They won't even try to be of any kind of real assistance to their customers. I will not use their platform again and I will remove all my current listing with them. I will also recommend nobody make use of them Very dissapointed

Purchased Windows 10 from ZarroTech through Bid or Buy and the link they sent me caused 2 seperate hard drives to fail completely after installing their windows onto the disks, one was a brand new adata ssd drive the other was an older seagate hhd. When I informed them they gave me a bad rating and are requesting now that my rating be removed about the virusses they sell people. Bid or buy is threatening to remove the rating if I do not supplu proof, how fo I extract proof from dead drives??? Sent them a mail to collect the drives at their cost so I am waiting for that. Do not use Zarrotech on Bid or buy as they sell virusses and cost you a lot of money in replacing damaged equipment.
