Based on recent customer reviews, MojoBeds receives sharply divided feedback. Customers consistently praise individual sales consultants by name, highlighting warm, knowledgeable in-store guidance and helpful product recommendations that make the buying experience pleasant. However, a recurring theme is the breakdown in service after purchase, with shoppers describing delivery delays, poor communication, unresolved refund requests, and disputes around mattress protector and exchange policies. Product quality complaints around sagging mattresses and warranty handling also surface repeatedly, suggesting that while the front-end retail experience can shine, post-sale support is a significant pain point.

I bought a brand new base from mojo beds on easter weekend this year. A day after the Easter weekend was up part of the base gave in as my husband sat down and he is not even 80kgs. I contacted the branch at south gate Johannesburg, they gave me an email an email address to contact. I sent the email and have not heard back since!!! Do not buy from mojo beds!!!

I do not recommend whatsoever. When purchasing our bed, we were essentially told that if we did not buy a mattress protector, we would not qualify for the 100-day exchange policy. We therefore purchased the protector recommended to us for around R2,000, as we were specifically told it was the only compatible option for the bed we chose. Unfortunately, we were away from home for the first month after delivery. Once we returned and started using the bed properly, I contacted the store to explain that the mattress protector is extremely slippery. Even after washing it and trying multiple fitted sheets from different brands, the sheets either slide off completely or we slide around on the bed, making it very uncomfortable. After several follow-ups and phone calls, we were eventually told that because the protector had been opened and used, it could not be exchanged. The only solution offered was for us to purchase another one at a “discount.” What makes this even more frustrating is that we were originally told this was the only compatible protector for the bed. So now we are being told to buy another one, which completely contradicts what we were told at the time of purchase. The experience has been disappointing from both a customer service and product perspective. It also became clear during conversations with staff that many of them do not personally use or seem fami**** with the product they are selling. Forcing customers into purchasing an expensive mattress protector to maintain an exchange policy, only to refuse assistance when there is a genuine issue, is unacceptable in my opinion.

No communication regarding my order. I placed an order on the 4th of April. Today is the 14th of April and I'm still waiting. No one is assuring me when exactly I'll get the bed delivered. I always get different stories when I call. This is not professional.

I bought a bed and paid even for the delivery. Waited for more than 72 hours and when I do follow up the manager kept on promising that they gonna deliver the bed. I ended telling them to do a refund since last week I've been waiting. The only solution I think is gonna be ex repo. Mojobeds really disappointed me xem.

I placed an order and paid in full for a double bed, including a R399 delivery fee. After payment, I was informed the bed was out of stock. Instead of offering a refund immediately, management tried to get me to accept a queen bed that had been on display — and initially wanted me to pay the price difference for a bed I never chose and that had been handled by the public. When I declined, they said they would give it to me at no extra cost but then informed me I would have to pay for delivery again — despite having already paid R399 for delivery on my original order. I was essentially left with no good option and ended up accepting the display bed and paying for delivery out of my own pocket. Management confirmed via email that they would refund my original R399 delivery fee. It has now been 15 days since I submitted all the required documents for the refund. Nothing has been processed. I have followed up and management continues to go back and forth with no resolution. This is unacceptable. I fulfilled every requirement they asked of me. I submitted the documents. I waited. I followed up. And still nothing. I should never have been put in this position to begin with — they sold me a product they did not have in stock, pressured me into an alternative I did not want, and are now sitting with my money. I am calling on Mojo Beds and Dial-a-Bed to process my refund immediately.

Order placed and paid, didn't receive any email to track my order. Contacted them and received automated replies for two days. No one could give feedback on my order. Called with phone just ringing, finally got through today just to be told that they don't have the mattress and the order will be further delayed. How was I going to know this if I didn't call everyday? Absolutely terrible customer service and I would not recommend anyone to buy there. Stick to the tried and tested.
