This company was contracted in early 2023 to install my gate automation and access control (intercom). They did an installation which kept having problems. Even when they fixed some things, the intercom remained un-operational, yet they had been paid over R30k in full. They came to fetch the intercom with the view of taking it back for fixing. They disappeared with it. When I opened a case of theft, they promised to come and install, yet never did. They have zero understanding of the importance of integrity especially when dealing with issues of home security. Over a year later, I still do not have an intercom system, yet I paid for it. Use them at your own risk!!

A & R Gate Automation you are defacing my property with you advertising. You stuck your sticker on my newly painted gate and now the paint is peeling when trying to get rid of the sticker. No one gave you permission to stick your advertising on my property and to damage my property! I have contacted you numerous times before to tell you to stop with the freaking stickers, but you persist in sticking your junk all over my palisade, gate and gate motors. I told you on Tuesday (30/01/2024) to remove it and fix my paint. All you can do is tell lies and this after repeated requests to keep your junk off my property ~ I will NEVER use your services! And as promised, I will put this on all the social media pages.

A & R Gate Automation you are defacing my property with you advertising. You welcome to put a flyer in my post box like everyone else but you persist in sticking your junk all over my palisade, gate and gate motors. After repeated requests to keep your junk off my property ~ I will NEVER use your services!

I called A & R Gate Auto (A & R Gate Automation) over the weekend 07.11.2020 after being a loyal customer to them before. I asked them if they have expertise to remove my prepaid meter which he confirmed he did and paid them for that service. This involved rerouting wiring the DB. The technicians smelt of liquor and they seemed not to know what they were doing. When they couldn't reroute the wiring properly they had to get another electrician to fix the problem. They then left leaving me with a problem. Now the swimming pool pump did not work. I called them again they came to site again smelling of liquor and they then said the cabling for the pool had to be redone. After checking the cameras I noticed they were also fiddling with the Jacuuzi box. It was later found that A&R Auto also left the heating element on the jacuzzi on which then melted sitting me with now 2 expensive problems. I found this odd as the pool was working fine before they removed the prepaid meter so on the 11.11.2020 I got a second opinion from another trusted electrician who said cabling was not required for the pool and A & R Auto messed up the wiring at the DB and it was inexperience from A&R Auto who did not know how to wire a DB and also A & R Auto inexperience with Jacuzzis of leaving heating elements on when there is no water. I am now filing a police report and small claims court as I find it hard to believe that this company will come to your house and deliberately break things. I now put it to A & R to refund me the monies I paid for them to rectify DB or else I will have no alternative to take legal action.
