not getting what was advertised as per site
I came on this site [URL Removed] on which i saw appliances. I ordered two appliances for my kitchen on which i paid the amount in full plus the delivery charge. Now all of the sudden there are import duties and handling charges that was not told to me at the beginning when i phoned. Its now about 5 days in which i havent received any items and i went to pay a further amount to get the items delivered to no avail. Now all ofthe sudden i have to pay that per item although there site dont mention it. Please help as i have no clue what to do further. They sit with a substantial amount of my money

Dont trust affordables-No delivery-No refund
I was skeptical when I saw the price of the Samsung fridge, but thought it too good an offer not to test out. I sent an email confirming if the price advertised was correct and if they ship to cape town. I was guaranteed they will ship once payment made and that R8900.00 was the total. Paid the cost on the 5August. Received another invoice providing different bank account number. Upon enquiry they stated the account was under auditing and they didn't want to delay the process. I said I already made the payment. Brenda said tell your bank to process a refund. Bank couldn't do it as it was an EFT. They refuse to process the refund because to them they don't have the payment as yet. Sent emails to follow up on progress. They don't reply. Called the number at some point, Brenda answered and in the back ground a baby was crying.. What company operates like that. I insisted they refund my money, Brenda ended the call on me. When speaking to Isabella, it seems the company is real and they just having issues tracking the payment, but come on. two weeks later I check my order on the website... No order found... they are scam artists.. don't buy from them. PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THEM. THIEVES

Avoid ordering from them!
I've transferred R5000 via EFT for a stove purchase done online on [URL Removed] The transfer was confirmed and apparently the item shipped. Two days later I received an invoice from a courier company, claiming another R2610 to pay for custom duties. The webpage however does not inform me that there will be custom duties for me to pay (it states all prices are in ZAR and including VAT). It doesn't even say the goods are coming in from overseas.<br> When enquiring about it, Isabela encourages me to still pay the invoice, and promises to refund me within a week. Later on the phone she insists that without my payment the item will not be delivered, as Affordables wil not do the payment in my behalf but 'may' refund me afterwards. Since I did not have sufficient proof that the item is really at custom services, my lawyer advised me not to pay anything more, so I didn't. My request for refund remains unanswered to date. Turns out the company does not exist (address doesn't exist and registration number cannot be found on CIPC). Also the courier company is very possibly a fake and connected with Isabela.<br> I've opened a criminal case with SAPS today.

Avoid website at all costs -- flagged by FNB
Paid R4000 via EFT for laptop purchase from [URL Removed] 5 June 2015 -- FNB has confirmed transfer of fudns into a Personal Account the same day, with R3000 shifted from account within minutes
