I had a situation at Grandwest where the machine basically told me to pay for my ticket twice. After paying the 2nd time, a helpful security guard told me I shouldn't have paid and asked that I go to AfriPark's reception window by exit 10. Once I got there, I was rudely serviced by the so called "manager" Deon Daries who rudely told me "I can't make the machine give you back your money! Why did you pay twice?! You should've pressed the help button. There's nothing I can do for you, you shouldn't have paid twice". I am appalled at the terrible attitude displayed by this "manager" as if it's my fault your machines are faulty! I also felt racially profiled because he gladly KINDLY assisted the white woman behind me!!!! What ****es me off the most is the blatant disregard and disrespect that he showed me. I was so angry that I cried because I've NEVER EVER in my 26 years of life been treated that way, especially since I approached him so properly. Terrible terrible service!! If he's the "manager" then I'm worried about the leadership of this company!!!

My car was clamped outside the building they are managing. I was parked outside on the pavement. As the signs clearly read you are entering a clamping zone when entering the carpark. No sign of clamping on the pavement??? The incompetent guards didn't want to listen to me and just walked away - if they were guards or working for whoever as none was dressed in recognisable uniform. I had to pay the R250 unclamping fee to release my vehicle. Luckily I took pictures of the 2 useless guards / workers and of the surroundings. Afripark's urisdiction is inside the carpark and not outside on the pavement.

I went to go watch a late night movie on Friday evening at Southgate and i parked my car at one of Afripark's parking lots, after the movie i went back to the parking lot paid my ticket and sat in the car for a few minutes then went to the toilet before leaving..

As i was about to leave i inserted my ticket into their machine and the barrier did not open so a lady by the name of Ridovhona Visage told me that its because i took more than 15minutes before leaving the premises and told me that i need to pay again of which i tol her that i cant pay again as i did not know about that 15minute rule since its nowhere written not even at the back of the card i got from their machines, thats when she gave me an attitude and insisted that i pay otherwise i wont leave..at the end i was left with no choice to pay for the second time of which is very unfair towards a customer..i asked for the company's head office number and she gave me a cellphone number of someone called Busisiwe Nhlapho saying she doesnt remember her company's contact number and this happened in the presence of two other male gaurds around half 10 at night..I am very disappointed with the service rendered.

Something should be done to repremand this Ridovhona Visage lady.

Good day. I am shopping years now at Tygervalley and never lost my parking ticket. Today after putting it in my hand that is injured I accidently lost my ticket. I had to pay R50 after walking miles to the underground and search for the ticket office. It is unacceptable. I support you for years and this is the service I get !!!!! I feel like a criminal paying a Assault charge. I'm disgusted in your treatment to your loyal clients.!!!!!!

I emailed Stephanie and Busi requesting an indication of how I will be charged for parking while helping my son move into a new flat. When we wanted to leave after 3 days, Busi had no reply from Stephanie who should have given her the info and authorisation to validate the parking ticket. I had to phone the head office, spoke to Maxine who informed me that Stephanie is on leave, she had to start Stephanies' computer to actually read my email! I phoned again and had the privilege to speak to the General Manager. I had to take my cellphone to Busi so that he could tell Busi to givie me one day discount and that she could validate the ticket!!!! Busi was not able to override the system and was only able to bring it down to R80.00. She gave me R30.00 change and was willing to pay up the difference.
Is this the standard way customers are treated?

was at Grand West 20:50. wanted to leave 20:55 as I couldn't find parking close to the entrance as it was windy and I had my 1 month old son with me. my wife and I just wanted to go have supper there. I was informed that I needed to pay for the ticket.
no where does it state that I have to pay you for looking for parking. Linda the manager or so called manager wasn't interested about the health and safety of my new born. Zandile who lied to my face about getting in contact with Linda showed me the type of people being employed by such a company. Puseleso who ha such a bad attitude and made me feel so small in front of the other people which was standing there. unbelievable.
I would like to know why I was charged for being 5 minutes on your premises and why there is no courtesy for parents with little babies. why was I treated like I was rubbish and not a customer.
I am not going to stoop to their level so I would like to know from Linda / Zandile / Puseleso from Afripark what they will be doing about rectifying this. there is also a white guy that was put up cones to block off a road that was rude by saying he don't have time for my SHIT. that is another manager.
