Afripumps recently installed a new pump for my borehole and completely revamped the DB board, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. From the start, their team was highly professional, offering expert advice to ensure the pump installation was perfect for my needs. The workmanship on redoing the DB board was exceptional, with everything neatly organized and functioning flawlessly.

If you're in the market for a borehole or need reliable water solutions, I highly recommend AfriPumps. Their combination of professional service, quality products, and customer focus makes them one of the best in the business. I am more than satisfied with my borehole system and am confident that it will provide sustainable water for years to come.

I have had endless problems getting my borehole and water tank to work, first with the assistance of another company, then by AfriPumps. Initially AfriPumps came to my house relatively quickly (about a week and a half after I contacted them). After that came the empty promises without any delivery; every time they committed to come through to me I would organise to be home from work and arrange someone (that I am paying for) to also be at my house to supervise the work, but AfriPumps would then just not pitch up at all at the date and time they gave me. I must have spent (so far) in excess of R3000 for the helper to be at my house to supervise the work, when in the end AfriPumps just never pitched. This is despite the fact that they committed to come and finish the job at the specified time and date. They gave me no phone calls, no messages, no anything. They just did not pitch up (they must have done this on 80% of the agreed dates and times). This is highly unprofessional.

After various calls and visitations to the company of an inquiry of a factory fault defect of a pump I purchase, which is still under warranty, it finally got escalated to the owner through this platform. The owner immediately contacted me once he was aware of the problem. He immediately sent me a new pump the very same day. Chatting to him on the phone I felt a deep consideration to my need and wish him and his staff all the best. I revived my interest to stay loyal to the company.

A Zilmet jet water pump was purchased in June 23. In a period of 5 months, Nov 23, I had noticed the pump casing developed a pin hole. The pump was uninstalled and sent back to the company. The company had done testing on the pump to determined that the root cause of failure. The root caused established was a mechanical integrity defect of the pump casing itself. The motor and pump components were in sound working condition. No defects were picked up on the pump vanes to indicate cavitation or on the shaft to indicate excessive vibrations. The pump has a one-year warranty. The pump has been with the company awaiting spares from the supplier since November 23. It has been 4 months without this equipment. The company has given me four options: 1. Buy a new pump at my own cost. 2. Replace the damaged casing at my own cost. 3. Rent a pump at my own cost . 4. Wait for the delivery of the spare casing, in which there is no definitive estimated date of arrival. This option is covered by the warranty, at no cost to me. Numerous attempts have been made to escalate the matter, however no resolution was provided by the company in any form of communication or commitment on the waiting period. The company had favoured me spending more money to have my system functional which compromises our relationship and sets the tone of dealing with them in future. Given that it was not an operational fault rather a structural integrity of material which the warranty had covered eludes to how this company values the bottom line over client loyalty.

Our boquet of "Service Excellece" goes to AfriPumps in Fourways, Johannesburg. With the ongoing Municipal water disruptions, we have chosen to install a water backup system with Tanks and a VSD intelligent Booster Pump. Richard and his team are knowledgeable and helped us confige a superior water backup system to meet our needs.
