We are being charged for an item we never had. I have been trying to contact them since June of 2022 and no one will respond. Then they had the audacity to submit it to collections and try to ruin our credit! This outfit is an OVERPRICED RIPOFF! Get your products elsewhere - Messer Canada is a fraction of the cost!

I have stopped all my business with Air Liquide since August 2021 due to their pathetic customer service and accounts department. Ever since the termination of their service they owe me a refund and till today they still did not managed to settle the refund. R471.13 to be exact. What a shame. Its the worst company that anyone can deal with when it gets to customer service. They keep on telling you the matter has been escalated but still nothing happens and every month you get an statement from them showing they owe you money. They forgot who kept their doors open before Covid pandemic as ever since the start of the pandemic they forgot they had customers that still need their support and service.

Worst customer service ever! They do not get back to you on time. They keep sending you from pillar to post and will not help you.

My mom is an emphysema patient and has the oxygen concentrator form Vitalaire as arranged through her medical aid with Discovery. From 26th December my mom was in hospital and since coming out from hospital after new year she has been feeling quite picked with the load shedding and extreme heat waves which in turn has impacted her breathing. Since 2 January I have been contacting Vitalaire head office to arrange an oxygen cylinder for emergencies as such.Today is the 13 January and have had no calls or feedback from them despite sending through the debit order form and paying the deposit. Instead when you call the head office or Westville branches the phone rings endlessly or I,m told to phone back later or told they have to refill their cylinders in JHb so they not sure when they will have any cylinders for my mom. There is no accountability or action on their behalf. After calling all over from 8am till 12 today I eventually got the number from air liquide for "Janie" who is a manager for Vitalaire. This manager does not understand the first meaning of customer service and should be fired. Instead of listening to my complaint she cuts me off and wants my moms details. Then she proceeds to rudely tell me that "my mom has an oxygen machine so why does she need the cylinder!" Why did you take my money if my mom according to you the expert does not need the machine? This could be a matter of life and death and you treat your customers so shamelessly, go back and train your staff.

a long overdue account dispute with air liquid never resolved , first of all as a partner with air liquid we did not expect them to steal our business the proceed to still charge us for cylinders taken by them , last month we mistakenly paid money that was meant to someone else into their account for the amount of R50 000 which they are now refusing to refund even if they take the disputed amount off they would still owe us money. I have mailed them and tried to reverse the payment yet they still refusing to respond.

My company, Chantec Manufacturing in Cape Town has been using Air Liquide as our primary gas supplier for well over 10 years. We never scrutinised their account very carefully, nor did we go back to market to check prices, because we regarded them as being an ethical supplier. This was a mistake. Recently we did check prices and were shocked at the results. The market price for Argon, our primary welding gas, for a user of our size, is below R 30/kg, while we were being charged R 156.39/kg. Similarly cylinder rental was being charged at around R 600 per month, while the market price is below R 110. These price distortions arose from the high price increases being put through, twice annually, which we failed to pick up. In 2016, 6% and 10% and in 2015, 9% and 10% with similar increases in previous years. These matters have been raised with Air Liquide locally and nationally, but they have refused to address the matter satisfactorily. We have thus terminated our relationship with them.

<p>Even a one star rating is too much for this company.</p> <p> </p> <p>Worst service I have ever experienced. Customers are expected to beg for their product. Next day delivery promises are in reality next week delivery, but not unless several follow up emails are sent by the customer to make sure their employees haven't simply forgotten about your order. Half order deliveries, second half never to arrive. Poor gas quality - bad welds - confirmed from their labs upon return of product. Accounts department run by rude, sarcastic PMS afflicted women who put phones down on customers. Sales department full of apologies but never any tangeable solutions hence the same customer frustrations are repeated over and over. Poor communicators. Couldn't give a stuff about their customers production needs and late deliveries are merely greeted with an Eish I'm Sorry.</p> <p> </p> <p>While your prices are competitive - the level of service is just not worth the frustration and hassle. I do not experience this with any other supplier of mine of which I have several for my business.</p> <p> </p> <p>After a year and a half of this treatment I am saying GOODBYE AIR LIQUIDE! HELLO AIR PRODUCTS!!!</p>
