Not What One Expects From Alumo
I have always been a great admirer of Alumo Energy . I have recommended them to others and have even received commission from them for a successful recommendation. However in the past 6 months I have stuggled enormously to get assistance from them with a ****le connectivity problem. I am now waiting for a quote for an ethernet connection which I requested 3 weeks ago. I have been twice told that I would get the quote the next day but still nothing. Very disappointed in them.

municipal electricity increase to triple after solar instillation by Alumo Energy
Since the installation of your solar system, my electricity account has increased dramatically from approximately R3,500 per month to between R7,000 and R7,500 per month. Since the beginning, I have repeatedly contacted your company on a weekly basis regarding this issue. Each time, I have received the same standard response that “the system is fine” and that the problem is allegedly due to my usage. Despite my ongoing complaints, no technician was ever sent out to properly inspect the installation or investigate the matter. Due to the lack of assistance and accountability from your side, I was forced to appoint an independent contractor at my own cost to determine the source of the problem. The findings confirmed that the installation was incorrectly done It is extremely concerning that this issue was ignored for such a long period while I continued to suffer severe financial prejudice through inflated electricity bills. Furthermore, I have now also been advised that certain aspects of the wiring and installation pose a potential safety and fire risk. At this stage, I have completely lost confidence in both the workmanship and the equipment supp**** .

AFTER SALES SERVICE ALUMO ENERGIES
I had solar system installed approximately 6 months ago I was verry happy with the installation team and the sales person who helped us Carlo. Alumo has changed the after sales person, which is not HELPFUL at all. I am very disappointed with the after sales service now.

Ongoing issue
We are extremely dissatisfied with the service received from Alumo Energy. We have been dealing with the exact same issue repeatedly, with absolutely no resolution in sight. Despite multiple promises that someone would come out and fix the problem, nothing has been properly addressed. Each time we are assured it will be sorted out, yet the issue continues as if nothing was ever done. This ongoing lack of accountability and failure to deliver on commitments is beyond frustrating. We have been more than patient, but at this point it feels like empty promises are all we’re getting. We cannot continue like this. A reliable service should not require constant follow-ups and repeated complaints just to get basic issues resolved. This experience has been unacceptable.

Very poor and disappointing service from Alumo Energy
Very poor and disappointing service delivered by Alumo Energy. Had a R300k system installed, and it's not delivering on the promises made. I run a business and I'm still dependent on a generator as this system proves to be nothing but useless.

On time, professional and excellent service! From the appointment with consultant, Renier van As who gave professional advice up to the installation, I have received friendly and a pristine service from the team. I am most satisfied with my solar system thusfar. I shall gladly recommend Alumo.
