On time, professional and excellent service! From the appointment with consultant, Renier van As who gave professional advice up to the installation, I have received friendly and a pristine service from the team. I am most satisfied with my solar system thusfar. I shall gladly recommend Alumo.

Don't call me, I'll call you
Our Sunsynk inverter died and I logged it on the 25th Feb. They said a technician will contact me to set a date and time to come inspect the unit. I had to call them again the next day to find out when I can expect a technician. Eventually, one came and confirmed the unit was dead. He would organise a loan unit and keep me updated. No such update came, I had to call again. Turns out they were waiting for stock. Eventually stock was received and they came to replace it so that my dead unit could be taken for assessment. Cue incorrect loan unit. Back and forth for the correct one. Finally, the loan unit was installed, but not set up correctly, so we were still using grid electricity mostly. We tinkered with the settings again, but it's not the same as it used to be. Also, our pre-paid meter fails comms with the grid constantly so we battle to see our unit balance or load new units. No update as to our dead unit either. I called them to complain and was assured that someone will call me back as "not acceptable practise from us". 24 Hours later and I'm still waiting. 2 Weeks since the logged ticket with no feedback. Aftersales service is pathetic.

We are from a school, Werner Terblanche assisted us with the whole process, from the roof support to the installation. brilliant, superfast service, site evaluation, awesome communication and support. Poor service
I am disappointed I have called allumo three times as I wanted to upgrade my system each time I am promised a sales rep will contact me but no one has and its three weeks now . Allumo had always given me great service but it seems like they don't care if you want to upgrade your system

Alumo Energy Solar installation
Customer service is great, the installation is done neatly and efficiently. I have no complaints whatsoever. I am even recommending Alumo Energy to my colleagues, keep up the good work!

I initially contacted Alumo in February 2026, and an appointment was scheduled for 16 February 2026. I then met with the sales agent, Carlo, who was very helpful. He conducted an on-site inspection, and we discussed the installation in detail. Carlo also created a computer design showing where the panels would be placed and explained the reasoning behind the positioning, taking into account the morning and evening sun. He further explained how the system works and advised that the package includes a cleaning service, with the first cleaning after six months and thereafter once a year. I later received the quotation and accepted it. On 17 February 2026, Odette conducted a credit check, and I was approved. I then received my contract on 23 February 2026 and signed it. After that, I was in contact with Rein, who was extremely helpful in arranging installation appointments for 3 March and 4 March. The installation team, led by Shaun, arrived on 3 March and began the installation. The work was successfully completed by 4 March, despite the unpleasant weather. The team also ensured that everything was cleaned up before leaving the property. Shaun assisted me with installing the app on my phone and explained how it works so that I can monitor the system myself. Overall, I am very pleased with the service I received and would definitely recommend this company. Keep up the great work!

EXCELLENT!
Unbelievable service from start to finish. I had a consultant come see me by the name of Lennon Mthombeni. He inspected the site, then sat down with me and we did the quote together. There was no rush. He allowed me to ask ALL the questions I needed to ask and he answered them with utter professionalism. If there was something I didn't understand he explained it to me so I understood clearly. There were NO hidden secrets that I found out online about Alumo Energy unlike other solar companies who came to see me and believe me I saw many - I got many quotes. And the installation done by Frans was seamless, like a well oiled machine!! One happy customer 👏🏻 I truly recommend Alumo.
