To whom this may concern. This will be the second time that I received a pair of takkies from American Clothing that molded and broke in less then a month. This is disappointing and the mere fact that your clerk could contact me in less the 5 minutes to advise that your Wynberg branch is blatantly discarding my concerns is considered rather unethical and definitely far from customer centric. If you see my previous correspondence below, you will note that 2 pairs in 2 months is a problem. If not, I think I should advise potential customers of the quality of apparel and attitude of your employees.

I purchased a slipper of R450 for my son on the 19th of December, however my son didn't like it and rather wanted the money so that he could add it to his savings and purchase something else instead. I then went this morning to the American clothing store and asked for a refund and explained myself the manager was super rude and gave me a voucher to purchase at the store I'm not satisfied with the way he spoke to me infront of my colleagues and other customers I also told him I'm going to put this on helloo Peter and then he threatened me that I better have a lawyer or else

I went to the American Swiss store at the Mall Of The South to enquire about a new strap for my watch. My wife asked the sales person if they could order her a strap from Diesel for the watch, as they were stockists of Diesel watches. First of all it looked like my wife woke up the man to assist with her query, second of all he said that they can not help an we must go back to where the watch was baught originally. I explained to the rocket sceintist that i am not claiming for a warranty claim, i would like to order a new strap from Diesel through them and pay for it. He said "eish its company rules" we can't help you. What I would like to know from American Swiss is where has the good sales attitude gone? My wife and I have been loyal supporters to American Swiss since 2005 and have a platinum card with American Swiss, but with the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism we received today, we will be closing our account with you.

Beginning December 2014 I bought a pair of Crockett & Jones shoes. April 2015 I noticed the shoes peeling. Taking it back, American Clothing said they have to send it back to the manufacturer and wait for report. Two weeks down the line I enquirer and was told no report yet. My argument with American Clothing is, why must I wait on Crocket & Jones for feedback. If you buy a loaf of bread which is not satisfactory you have it replaced by the shop and not the bakery. Why am I waiting with no feedback, this is lousy service from American Clothing.
