What disgusting service I received from these people today I searched for fridge repairs on google and got them and they give the option of contacting on whatsapp. My fridge just stopped working and I have no idea what went wrong I then messaged them on whatsapp as we are given that option and the guy was unwilling to help me he asked me questions I had no idea about I told him that I am not sure and he tells me I have to know these things and will not quote me over the phone and proceeds to block me. Instead of assisting me in kindly telling me how I can find out the problem or atleast telling me that they will have to come for an assessment perhaps to quote me.

16L Gas Geyser started giving problems after 3 months and completely stopped working after 5 months. Had to replace control panel for a quarter of the price of a new geyser. No warranty due to "water damage due to no cover". Geyser should be sold with cover or clear warning sign.

Do not bother with these guys, new geyser installed after previous geyser blew. I have only had problems. They made me replace the gas cannister. Then they made me replace the regulator. They refuse to send a technician and I have to use the electric geyser again. I thought I would save money installing this geyser but it has cost me more money than I ever anticipated. DO NOT GET THIS BRAND ATLAS it is useless and the company has no service to even bother complaining about

A Brand new Atlas 20lt Gas geyser has been installed during June 2022 at my house (617, 22nd Avenue Rietfontein, Pretoria) Since then it has malfunctioned constantly. Why must we fix a brand new geyser. It broke down again on Friday 23 September 2022. I am fed up with Atlas who don't want to replace it. It's been working for about 4 weeks in total since installation was done. Please help. It was an insurance claim via Standard Bank insurance

My Hisense fridge stopped working on 1 June. As it is still under warranty I contacted the call centre at Hisense. None of the numbers work so the only way is via email. It took 2 days for a technician to arrive to check it out. It couldn't be fixed so it took another day for him to lodge a report. After several emails to Veronica Ramutsindela, management finally approved a swap on Monday 8 June Several more emails later it was handed to Kelly (no surname provided) at Atlas Appliances. After several more frustrating emails, it was handed to management to resolve on Friday 12/06 Today is Day 15 without a fridge/freezer and still no response. I have had to throw away a substantial amount of food and this has put me at additional risk as I have to shop daily for food which is also a waste of time and money. I am shocked at the total lack of efficiency and passive-aggressive attitude. Customer service seems to be non-existent.

This is a warning to consumers to steer clear of Atlas Appliances in Edenvale. I have had no end of trouble with their product, attitude and very poor customer service. After installing a gas water heater from Atlas, the unit did not function as the ignitor did not work. The part was replaced under duress. Next the heater would not warm the water at constant temperature, fluctuating between the low twenties and fifties in quick succession. Then it went down with an error message. After a lot of effort by the installer and sending Atlas videos of their failing product they reluctantly sent a technician, who was unable to fix the problem. They then replaced the product, claiming that they are doing me a favour. This one also did not start up; the ignitor would not work. It has now also been returned to them. They are claiming it is a problem with the water quality, but the (approved) installer assured me there was no dirt in the filter when he removed the replacement unit. When I asked Atlas for a refund (as I am entitled to do under the Consumer Protection Act), they bluntly refused. In the meantime the installer, at his own cost, installed a water heater from a different manufacturer. This unit has been working without any problems from day one, so there obviously is no problem with the water supply. Do not do business with Atlas, they offer no guarantee and provide very limited (and poor) support.
