I called Arthur's due to an emergency. Two of the glass shelves of my TV unit collapsed and broke, causing some of the decoders / wi fi connections, etc to disconnect and some still hanging onto the connections. I was immediately assured that someone would come the same day to attend to the problem. As I have a Bed and Breakfast establishment, the repair was required urgently. Two gentlemen arrived, adhered to all the Covid 19 protocols, attended to the collapsed items, re- positioned the equipment on the remainder shelves, ( which they also had to re-position ) and fixed the problem in no time at all. Well done Arthur's.

Had a simple problem that needed to be fixed. First of all they were hours late. Supposedly the problem was fixed. Got home,tried to change channels on Dstv and everything went dead. NO signal!! This was a completely new problem that didn't exist until these so called technicians fixed the original problem. Phoned Arthur himself and was told that I needed a new decoder. I honestly think the cables were tampered with because when I took a look at them and tightened connections it started working. Just because I'm a woman don't for one moment think I'm useless. After paying a huge callout fee they then want to make more money out of me. But hey maybe they should hire me as clearly the technitions don't know what they are doing..or do they ( we will come back and charge you more ) they will never set foot in my house again.

Had a simple problem that needed to be fixed. First of all they were hours late. Supposedly the problem was fixed. Got home,tried to change channels on Dstv and everything went dead. NO signal!! This was a completely new problem that didn't exist until these so called technicians fixed the original problem. Phoned Arthur himself and was told that I needed a new decoder. Never, ever, have I had such shocking service for a simple TV installation! Installed TV into new property, including setting up the dual view for one TV in Bedroom 1 and then setting up another TV in the lounge and in Bedroom 2 on Thursday 23rd May. Not a cheap exercise! On the 25th May the TV in the lounge simply would not work and it is the primary decoder so no TV all weekend. Phone them on Monday the 27th and they came out and tell me all the cables need to be replaced from the dish. Why did they not pick this up when they did the installation as they worked with those cables from the dish? Drill a hole, install new cables along the beams and charge another labour fee which is shocking as they should have seen this on the first call. Pay through the nose again! 2 days later, the TV in Bedroom 1 does not work. Was watching a programme and it just went off. Phone the next day and get accused of fiddling with the channels, what part of I WAS WATCHING THE ****** TV AND IT WENT OFF, do you not get! Came out again and tell me I switched the channel! And, tell me, I am lucky to not pay a call out fee. Now, again there is trouble! The TV in 2nd bedroom is not picking up the channel changing etc on the remote as the eye installed is simply not working. I am so sick of this shoddy work and if I call them again, will get more rudeness from him regarding this, and I might add, you dont want to see how they left the wires, old and new, all lying in a mangled mess on the floor, it is an eyesore and no one would be happy with what it looks like. No tidying up done at all and staff who give me serious attitude but I am the one forking out over R2000 for a simple installation that has never worked correctly for more than 3 days!

Good Day Athur. I would like to bring the following to your attention as Im livid and actually reached a point this morning where I arrived back from Knysna and went straight to your shop My mom gave in a tv and microwave Saturday morning at 10 after I phoned the store and spoke to a gent called Joshua. He told me over the phone that I can bring the two appliances in and that they will look at it quick and sent me a damage report before close of business as I explained to him its urgent and I have people in my house who needs the appliances and my insurance company are waiting for the report My mom dropped it off and he confirmed that I will have it before close of business emailed to me. At 11 Saturday morning I followed up and still nothing. At 12 I followed up again and was told its second in line. No phone call before close of business received. Empty promises made and cannot kept their promise and service. On Monday I drove back from Knysna and phoned the store just after 8. I spoke to Joshua and he said its opened up and they are busy with it. I needed to gonto the post office in Walmer and thought let me pop in and get the serial numbers so long to get quotes as this process takes forever. Getting to the store Joshua was out and another gent helped me. I saw my TV in the entrance area and asked were they done. He replied no they did not look at it yet Whyyyyyy???????!! Lying to customers and making empty promises. I told my insurance company they will have it at close of business Saturday and I look like a completeidiot due to your staff being incompetent and making empty promises. I took my appliances and asked for a refund and will go to another company. How difficult can it be to be honest to customers . I am toatally disappointed and will make sure social media and Hallo Peter hear of this. This is unacceptable. I paid for a service and were lied to. The gent laughed and had a **** attitude Monday when I walked in there and asked for answers. He even said I can go to Hello Peter and report it yo you. Pathetic!!!! Seems like when you are on leave they can do what they want and customer service and etiquette is out the door Looking for your earliest response
