Excellent Service
Our basset puppy, Butternut, had a terrifying bout of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, and we had to admit her to Bakenkop Clinic at 1 AM. She stayed for a few nights, and we were so impressed by the care she received. The team sent daily updates with photos and videos, which truly put our minds at ease. On top of that, they even went the extra mile to communicate directly with our medical insurance company, ensuring a smooth and stress-free process for us. You absolutely cannot leave your fur child in better hands! In short, their service was nothing less than 5-star. Highly recommend!

Excellent Service
Our basset puppy, Butternut, had a terrifying bout of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, and we had to admit her to Bakenkop Clinic at 1 AM. She stayed for a few nights, and we were so impressed by the care she received. The team sent daily updates with photos and videos, which truly put our minds at ease. On top of that, they even went the extra mile to communicate directly with our medical insurance company, ensuring a smooth and stress-free process for us. You absolutely cannot leave your fur child in better hands! In short, their service was nothing less than 5-star. Highly recommend!

MISSDIAGNOSIS OF MY ANIMAL
I AM WRITING TO EXPRESS MY UTMOST DISSAPOINTMENT AND CONCERN REGARDING THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF MY PET AND MYSELF DURING THE VISIT AT BAKENKOP ANIMAL CLINIC.ONCE YOU STEP IN WITH YOUR SICK ANIMAL, FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS FILL OUT A FORM( ACCEPTABLE), BUT BEFORE THE THE VET SEES YOUR ANIMAL A DEPOSIT OF R4000 IS NEEDED. SORRY TO SAY BUT THEIR SLOGAN SAYS" YOUR PET, OUR PASSION OUR PRIORTY" MUST CHANGE TO " YOUR PET , YOUR WALLET OUR PRIORITY " PART OF MY DISSAPOINTMENT IS THE FACT THAT THEY TOLD ME THAT MY ANIMAL NEEDS SURGERY IF THE TREATMENT IS NOT WORKING. THEY DID THE TREATMENT AND THEN TOLD US THEY CAN NOT DO THE OPERATION..WHY "MILKING ME FOR MY MONEY" IF YOU KNOW YOU CANNOT FOLLOW THROUGH??? WE TOOK OUR ANIMAL TO ANOTHER VETENARIAN, WHICH REVEALED A DIFFERENT DIAGNOSIS!!!! THE WRONG DIAGNOSIS LED TO DELAYED PROPER CARE..AND THE RESULT THEREOF IS THAT MY ANIMAL PASSED AWAY, IT IS DISGUSTING....

They Help you, They Comfort you, They Save you!
Once again this Anamil *****s has saved our baby... firstly last year with Parvo they did everything in their power to save Lexi and they did and this year ... like dogs eat everthing they can find... they performed an emergency surgery to remove a foreign object from her stomach and intestine which could have also been live threatening. The service, the people, the handling of accounts with the insurance... everything was excellent and done so professional and also with a human touch dealing with lives. Thank you everyone at Bakenkop AC for saving our Lexi for a 2nd time.

The best Vet clinic and Customer service possible
The best Vet and Clinic we have ever been to. 1. A clean and inviting atmosphere. 2. Friendly and very informative staff and service. 3. Our pets, Levi, Luna and Lupin used to hate going to the vet, but when we park at the clean parking and see the friendly car guard, all you see are three wagging tails and happy smiles. 4. Lupin was diagnosed with severe arthritis and instead of suggesting a quick fix, they provided us with a game plan and clear steps and instructions to follow for a safe and comfortable transition. Thank you to everyone at BAKENKOP for truly being all about our pets and informing pet parents and guardians on how to be better!

Thankful to Bakenkop Animal Clinic
I am very pleased with the service and love I received from Bakenkop Animal Clinic. My little puppy was not doing well and they saved him. The staff members were friendly and advised me well. I would definitely recommend them.

Bakenkop Money making Business No Passion for animals
Just a money making business , no care or Passion for any animals , was there x2 times were i did not get any assistance , left with my Sick Kids (dogs) They don't care !!!!

If you love your pet STAY AWAY
Took my dog there for an emergency. First thing the vet says "Lets talk money". No attempt to even discuss the actual emergency. NO empathy from the vet or the assistant. In fact she made it abundantly clear that we were bothering them.When we enquired about her prognosis she said "come back in an hour" I was phoned and told "Its hopeless. Come say goodbye" When we were saying our goodbyes both the assistant and the vet were visibly irritated and just wanted us out of there. I will NEVER go back there again. These people only care about how much they can fleece you. If you love your pet STAY AWAY.

Money hungry Vets
My Dog of 7 years got an infection on her foot.. i phoned Bakenkop to please help.. i could not pay straight away but at the end of the month the full amount.. they said theywont help at all, i must send them a picture and they will tell me what to do.... money money money its all they care about... disgusting
