I tried to book a vehicle service. Have to first ve assisted by Heleen. Permanently unavailable. Left numerous messages for Heleen. It's now 2 weeks. At least reception answered incoming calls. Because Heleen is not available, I could not secure any booking to service my vehicle. Even left a message for the Service Manager. Still no response. Forced me to go to their competition. Utterly disgusted in their aftersale service. NEVER AGAIN. IF I could have rated them a zero star, I would have.

I bought a NEW Mahindra suv 700 in September 2023 from HatfieldMahindra Pretoria. Since them my car has been in to the workshop approximately 7 times. The electronic system keeps giving problems, for example the whole screen will go black while driving and will only come on when you restart the car, or the music will just die. These are just 2 examples. The tire pressure indicater will show that 1 or more tires are flat and even if you check all the tires it still shows the tire pressure is a mess. The velve stem seals had to be replaced so this meant that my car which only has 33 000 km on the clock whole engine had to be stripped. No person will be happy if their new vehicles engine must be stripped but Mahindra forced me to allow this. Now, today the engine light went on and the car couldn't drive any more. My insurance had to come and fetch my car on a low bed because it was at 6 at night. These are just a few problems I have had with a BRAND NEW car. I am at the point where I am going to post all my evidence and videos on all the social platforms to warn other innocent people to not go near any Mahindra because all Mahindra do is pull up their shoulders!!!!!! After sales service at Mahindra is the worst of any other brand ever.

My vehicle went for a service early in September and although reception was fine and it took a bit longer than anticipated, but the after service feedback, quotes & documentation to be shared on potential repairs, was a mayor disaster. I have even phoned (twice) and included the workshop manager in e-mail communication, but he's only assistance was to ensure that I received the 1st quote on 19/09, although it was prepared on 07/09 already. No computer printout was supp**** as well. I responded to the mail - no response and the 1s response was only received after I had to call the workshop voorman, to try and understand what I was quoted for as the after service discussion was insufficient and did not point out all the issues correctly. I actually called the voorman a few times, following up on an updated quote, asking questions on the descriptions and only after another call, and three mails from me, a mail was received from BBHafiel again on 21/10, about 7 weeks after the initial service. I actually re-did their quote to be more understandable for he client, without changing their format... Again telephonic discussions between me and the voorman followed, as well as 5 more emails from my side and on 31/10, I actually received an updated quote, still not 100% correct, but with a demand instruction that the full amount is to be paid, before they can continue. Again I called the foreman, Michael, who really tried to assist, promising that he will get the correct quote within a few days, which never happened. As a pensioner I requested a rebate on the work to be done, and 5% was given in the last feedback all parts & labour, except fluids. Up to date no feedback yet and I can't see why I should contact them again, if the ball was in their court all the time... More seriously - I have now had somebody else look at the vehicle, who has already supp**** me with a computer report as well, showing some things suggested to be replaced, is indeed not required, however a few other VERY IMPORTANT and potentially DANGEROUS issues were actually missed by the BB Hatfield Manidra technician... The level of problems missed, are really life-threatening issues... And we as consumers actually trust these big companies...

I am extremely disappointed in the service received. We bought two vehicles and have “paperwork” issues on both vehicles. Registration not done properly on the one vehicle and the service plan as promised by the sales executive was never registered on the other vehicle.

After 10000 km from 300km, the bakie were more with them, scratches, loosing my spare wheal with the workshop manger joking about it while I’m standing there on the workshop floor and replacement of rear springs it is still not right!!! Wheal alignment still not right and wheal balancing newer right!!! Tried to use there complaints department with no help…. I’m sitting now in a tyre shop trying to sort the problems. ON MY OWN COST Simple thing is…. As soon as you drive that car of the floor ITS YOUR PROBLEM!!

I received the worst possible service by the staff at Mahindra Hatfield. The car I bought had multiple issues, and it was such a difficult experience trying get it all sorted out. They never let me know what was going on, and it was always up to me to chase them up. They got so many things wrong in the process, which just added to the frustrations. What should have been a nice experience has turned into a nightmare. I am shocked at how poorly they managed my issue. Only one staff member bothered to apologise, while everyone else just dismissed me like I was an inconvenience. If you need a car take your money somewhere else.

Bought a vehicle and received casback, a couple of weeks later salesman informs me it was a mistake. Now have to pay it back. Made 1st installment payment to him today. An unhappy start to my after sales experience...
