Morné and Gerrit sold me a Prado with a new but underpowered battery causing me to have endless issues getting stuck on the side of the road as a female on my own. When I eventually found out that the battery I had was not the correct spec for my car I called them up to discuss replacing with the correct battery. Their response - it’s not their problem as it’s after their 6 month warranty. So essentially they can sell you a car with incorrect parts but as long as you don’t notice within 6 months they get away with it. Check your vehicle thoroughly before buying from this company. I will definitely never use them again.

This was truly a SAVE TIME and MONEY -use FRANK experience. I had not even entered the showroom door, when a voice said, "how can I help you". Within 30 minutes, I had all the paperwork needed, viewed the vehicle and was on my way. Collecting it was even better, with a bottle of bubbly to go and celebrate. Thank you Frank Alfoldi.

Bidvest NcCarthy Toyota, Hennops, Centurion is the best branch ever. The service manager JJ is unbelievable in how he manages his clients personally and professionally, He is always friendly and goes the extra mile to keep his customers satisfied, It feels like family bec I gave been with them for more than 25 years. Thx for great service JJ.

I am a cash buyer and responded to an ad on www.cars.co.za. Test drove the Ford Ranger on the 16thMay and there was issues with gearbox. 3 weeks later, no Ford Ranger delivered, although paid for in cash already. Communication and updates.... the promise of tomorrow on a daily basis, eventually we had to start dealing with the mechanic ourselves which was a 3rd party company. We have requested a full refund on 8 June 2024 and still waiting for that to happen. This issue was also escalated to the dealer management, yet no customer care / service and very unprofessional in my experience. The most unprofessional dealership I've ever dealt with.

I've been with Bidvest McCarthy roadside assistance since 2006 (Platinum member). Since 2006 I had less than 5 breakdowns. This morning my car stalled and I needed a rollback. I phoned the call centre for assistance and spoke to a Nonhlanhla. After some time she came back to me advising that I will have to fork out R580 as for the tow truck driver as the policy terms and conditions have changed (distance is now calculated from location of the tow truck, which was never the case). I took out the policy to assist in case of emergency. I was almost left stranded. If you ever think of making use of the service of Bidvest McCarthy, think twice. I will not advice anyone to make use of their services. It is disgusting.

My husband baught a Fortuner in 2019. From start it had faulty oilleak. They “fixed” it after 3 attempts. Gave us extended service warrenty. Had callback on another faulty part in August. Had no stock. Car went for service in August and I pick it up and it has a gash on the driver door. Service dept said they will investigate and phone me to bring it in to be fixed. Still waiting for the call. Went to the service dept on Saterday 2 Oct to find out when recall will be fixed and the damage on my car. They said they will phone me Monday. Still waiting for the call. These people have no regard for their costumers. Please do not make use of their “service”.
