Based on my experience, stay away from all Nissan vehicles and definitely stay away from Nissan Woodmead and I do acknowledge when there are no issues, the Nissans are good vehicles, but when there is an issue, like in my case, Nissan SA will not help. There is also a fundamental flaw on the Navara which it seems that Nissan SA is not disclosing to customers/ Form Nissan protecting an *********** dealer, to conflicting reports on repairs being received, to repairs being looked up on Facebook and conducted on my car, false advertising, non-disclosure of Nissan approved part is not being covered as Nissan says they do not test any vehicles with Nissan approved accessories, being the Nissan rims, as its not OEM, so why then is it Nissan approved? Nissan SA is refusing me access to the call recordings, they are doing everything in their power to make me pay in to get the vehicle sorted out. This is my experience: I purchased a brand new Nissan Navara from Nissan Ballito, it was delivered will all Nissan approved accessories to my door on a flatbed. From day one, the vehicle felt like the wheels were not balanced, but they were. I took the vehicle into Nissan Woodmead and on 6 different occasions, they advised that that’s how the Navara is meant to be. When I raised the fact that I drove other Navara's and they did not have this issue, their response was that they have fixed the vehicle and there is nothing they could do. On one occasion, the bin of the vehicle was loose, that’s how bad the vehicle was vibrating. I involved Nissan SA and they said that they are aware that is an issue with all Navara’s and there is no ETA for a fix and there is nothing they can do for me. I continued to complain on Facebook and Nissan SA changed something on my vehicle, drafter a report that the vehicle is completely fixed and has no vibrations, but nobody wanted to go on a test drive with me and guess what, the vehicle was vibrating worse than before. Nissan Woodmead then issued me with their version of the repair report and it was completely different to the Nissan SA report and Nissan SA has completely ignored the fact that somebody **** on the report. Nissan SA is completely ignoring me, even though I am driving a vehicle that is under warranty, is a safety risk on the road and Nissan does not care, stay away from Nissan, all Nissans as I have been dealing with this issue for 4 years and Nissan does not care. I have incurred costs in excess of R200k on this as I had to purchase another car to ensure I could safely get to work as the Navara felt too unsafe on the road. Nissan Woodmead and Nissan SA has come back saying I used the vehicle for 4 years so there is depreciation on the vehicle and as per the ombud, I have to pay in, they ignored the fact that Nissan Woodmead always told me that the vehicle was fixed or that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle when they was, so wat was I expected to do with the vehicle, not use it, how was I meant to go to work. What's worse is that there are numerous Nissan owners who had their Navara's replaced for the same issue as the dealer immediately realized that the issue cannot be fixed, but since Nissan Woodmead did not do that and their incompetence or lies or the fact that they don’t know how the vehicle drive is meant to be, has been made my issue and now I am being asked to pay in. To compound this, Nissan SA is saying they wont make a profit on this, but they are offering me the same, if not less discount that any other buyer, so they don’t care. They are only looking at their bottom line and protecting the dealer, who should have done a lot more. To the dealer, please do not contact me as you cannot help, the reference number with Nissan SA is 01119420. Please note that I am honestly not trying to be rude, but a dealer cannot assist with a warranty issue that’s already being ignored by Nissan SA. Nissan Woodmead and Nissan SA has now come back to me and saying that I will have to pay in and they will swap the vehicle, what happens to the warranty, this is still under warranty so why do I have to pay in? This is extremely disappointing Nissan. Nissan do not care about their customers if it impacts their bottom line and they will protect their dealers, even though they are wrong. Lastly, do not but Nissan Approved accessories as Nissan is refusing to test the vehicle with the Nissan Approved Rims, that is advertised on the vehicle on their website as its not OEM. So didn’t Nissan approve the rims as is operates the same or better than the OEM? To me, that’s false advertising as they are advertising it as Nissan Approved, but now say they cannot guarantee that it will work, so you cannot trust a Nissan approved product. To be clear, the vehicle drive quality is so bad, people have refused to sit in the vehicle and on numerous occasions, the vehicle bolts came loose and the vehicle did not stay in the desired lane and I have advised Nissan of the safety issue and they still insist its fixed, although none of them have been on a test drive with me. To the dealer, please do not contact me as you cannot help, the reference number with Nissan SA is 01119420. Please note that I am honestly not trying to be rude, but a dealer cannot assist with a warranty issue that’s already being ignored by Nissan SA. The service I received at Bidvest McCarthy Nissan Woodmead was more than great. Mahlatse Maponya is honesty a sincere sales person. He was transparent and honest throughout. Of course he is a sale person that is his profession and he will do his job. I appreciate the ethics he considers in his sales. As a first time buyer, anxious buyer and someone who bothers herself with information, Mahlatse was open, patient, guiding and educating. You're in good hands when consulting with him! Big ups Hlatse! Ndiyabulela!

The service I received at Bidvest McCarthy Nissan Woodmead was more than great. Mahlatse Maponya is honesty a sincere sales person. He was transparent and honest throughout. Of course he is a sale person that is his profession and he will do his job. I appreciate the ethics he considers in his sales. As a first time buyer, anxious buyer and someone who bothers herself with information, Mahlatse was open, patient, guiding and educating. You're in good hands when consulting with him! Appalling service! The used car salesmen don't call people back when they promise to, and they also didn't bother to even pitch up for a scheduled test drive! Only after the scheduled time passed and we contacted the salesman did he make up an excuse and promised to let us know when he would come, but never contacted us again or come for us to test drive the car. If this is how useless they are before even selling a car to you, how bad is the after-sales service? I would definitely avoid them like the plague! Even one star is better than they deserve.

Worst service by the sales agent-Thabo. Purchased the car this past October and was sold to me with a cracked windscreen and that made it not roadworthy. They said I should fix it and I’ll be refunded. I got the windscreen replaced and roadworthy done but til today I have not received my refund despite numerous attempts with the sales person. During the roadworthy check, they also discovered that the brake disks have worn out. Terrible and dishonest service they’re offering.

This is a follow up story. Bought a used Toyota Hilux double cab, which turned out t be a skorokoro. I complained and reported all the faults to no avail. Then when I finally wrote a review on hellopeter the McCarthy PRO machine went into full defensive mode accusing me of being a year late without considering the fact that i had been complaining for almost a year without any resolution of my complaints. Then the Woodmead branch manager who have been ignoring me all this time was made to call me, I guess by the franchisor. He introduced himself as Dawie, and he berated me for going to hellopeter. He threatened to walk away if I continue to write negative reviews. He said I'll have to go back to hellopeter and say the issues I had were attended to. He kept me on a leash long enough for the franchisor to be off his back and then he walked away like he threatened initially. He did not resolve my complaints. Lesson here is that these people are not serious about customers satisfaction, they don't want public outcry and scrutiny. If they can swindle us in private and we suffer silently they are happy. I will continue this review with more details later

Referral Not Paid - The process of paying out a referral is more stressful and long compared to the stuff being compensated on their commission .I referred a friend in March up to today the referral money has not been paid. The consultant was kind enough to tell me the money will be 3k when she wanted a sale after the deal was sealed, the referral money was not paid . I have send emails every week twice in a week sometimes to the Manager Rylan R and the consultant Cynthia Siziba and they keep asking for documents and they don't process any payment. The money was reduced from 3k to R1500 based on a senseless story that the sponsor will not pay anymore due to the late enquiry . The consultant has made a good commission given by me and yet I am still not rewarded for my lead.

Pathetic Service, was interested in a Nissan Magnite. Went into the dealership and spoke to one of the salesperson. Requested a test drive for 10am the next day and a quote for the two models I was interested in. No show, no message, no email!!!!! I then went into the dealership to find out why they hadn't brought the car for a test drive, only to be told they tried to phone but my phone went to voice mail. I spoke to the sales manager who apologized and said it would be sorted out and passed me onto one of sales/admin people. I made arrangements for the following morning for a test drive. My business is 2 minutes away from the dealership. Once again no show, no phone call nothing, that was 2 days ago!!! They have now lost a potential sale!!! If I was the owner and my staff treated customers like this, heads would roll!!
