Stay away from BobsBasket!!
Stay away, any positive reviews will probably be from the scammer himself. I also fell for "their" stupid website, the Standard bank account that "they" had is already closed. "They" already have a new FNB account for payments. Do not buy anything from this site, "they" steal your money and that's it. Hopefully one day... As they say... the wheel will turn.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - IT"S A SCAM
I purchased a SMEG Kettle and paid via EFT, on the 21st April 2021. To date (12th May 2021), I have not received the delivery. The tracking option on the website is not active. The contact number provided is not valid - checked with Telkom (1023) and they confirmed the number does not exist. I emailed the contact centre ***********, and received a 'delivery failed' (the same email address I received confirmation that the order was dispatched and will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days)

So far Im happy
I have heard some bad experience before when it comes to online shopping, I recently used Bobsbasket a couple of weeks ago and I have to give them a 4 star just for now. I had bought a smeg kettle for a really good price but the problem was that it was damaged, so I called them on a Monday and told them about it, they responded to me very fast and and on Wednesday thats when I got my order in good condition.

Bobsbasket.com is a scam. Please do not order from their website. They will send an email confirming the payment and order. After that, there will be no delivery, no answers to emails, phone calls or whatsapps. If you have ordered, please open up a fraud case against them so we can get the site shut down.

Bobsbasket.com is a scam. Please do not order from their website. They will send an email confirming the payment and order. After that, there will be no delivery, no answers to emails, phone calls or whatsapps. If you have ordered, please open up a fraud case against them so we can get the site shut down.

ALERT! This is a fraudulent "business" !
It should have been zero stars! I joined Hello Peter to warn other potential victims of this scheme. So the MO is this: they offer goods for sale on their online store, confirm that they have the stock available to fulfill your order and that it will be delivered 2-5 days from payment, get you to pay upfront and then don't ship your purchases. If you should inquire, they apologise that the order is late but assure that the will deliver, and the delivery date is always moved 3 days later. They stop communicating with you from this point onward, the "landline" phone is not answered and ends up going to voicemail lite, so that you cannot leave a message. E-Mails go unanswered. If, by some miracle, the phone is answered, the person answering pretends to assist you but does not have the foggiest what you are on about. The person that you might have communicated before is always unavailable to speak to you. If you want to get a refund, you are welcome to do so, just e-mail you order details and banking information. And then do not hold your breath. Don't be fooled by the professional online store website, physical address, landline number or the local bank account (wonder how FICA was passed?). There is nothing legit about this. If this sounds familiar, please go to you local police station and lay a charge of fraud against this "business". We might not ever get back what was stolen from us, but at least we can put a stop to this by standing together. Also report the incident to the Cyber Security Hub: cshubcsirt@cybersecurityhub.gov.za to facilitate a take down of the website.

Don't Buy From Them!
<div>I don't know what to say about this place. It's now been 21 days since I placed my order and I can't even get hold of anyone. Basically, after they've taken your money they simple stop answering your phone calls, WhatsApps, and emails. As far as I'm concerned, what this company is doing is highly illegal. I've now approached the NCC regarding the matter, and will be getting some legal advice to see how this can be resolved.</div>

Don't Buy From Them!

I have tried to write a review fro BobsBasket before but it was taken down due to me making derogatory comments so all I will say is the short story.....that I attempted to buy a Dyson fan from them . Paid for it which was acknowledged waited and waited for it. It never arrived even though telephonically it was on its way. Asked for a refund which was also and that has not arrived either. In my opinion I would recommend to anyone out there not to use this company and it’s a shame I have to give even one star on this review.
