Join this funeral policy at your own risk, I joined this policy for more than 10 years-for my mom, dad and myself. My mom passed away 2020 - they gave my dad issues when he was suppose to claim the money for my mom’s burial, and I had to intervene and the payment was done. My dad passed away on the 09th of March 2024 till today(10th of September 2024) I'm still struggling to claim that money, We were only 3 for that policy -my mom , my dad and me , I was the one who was paying for that policy,making sure that the policy was paid on time . Since from march Bolokanani doesn’t want to pay the money ,they are sending me from pillar to post. Guys I’m warning you,don’t join this funeral cover - they’re ****mers.

Bolokanani Funeral Plan ****ming the bereaved....
It is with a heavy heart that I write about Bolokanani. They failed to pay out a claim that was submitted on the 08/05/2024 for my late brother. Till today they will refer us to Safrican as if we joined a policy with Safrican. It's almost 30 years that we have been paying for this policy, but they fail to pay out even if it's our first time claiming. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. We are supposed to be grieving the loss of our brother, but yet here we are, appointing attorneys to assist us in getting our money. Bolokanani should shut its doors, as you are a money-making scheme who just use people's losses to benefit your own pockets. Sies. this is not over. You messed with the wrong family this time around.

unprofessional with poor service
The service is very poor, the claim was submitted the 2nd August 2023 till today the 8th August 2023 they still have not make a payment, they will refer you to safrican when you contact them i was told they do not have such a claim on their system, other insurance institutions already made payments with same documents submitted to them including Banks Fnb the best we buried my father with FNB payout, We have been with Bolokanani for over 15 years and this is what we received from them, the admin ladies they follow up with safrican only when you call them and say nothing has been paid, it makes you wonder if they even care about clients.

Scammers,fraudsters, and inconsiderate entity.
Bolokanani offers the worst service and they are crooks, i applied for my cash back claim since October the 15th, its now a month and i have not received it. I spoke directly to Nitash who is the claims consultant there, she bluntly told me the claim is processed and now she is not taking my calls. They are criminals and scammers Here is her email address: nitashk@bolokanani.com Stay away from them, i regret joining them.

No sympathy with grieving clients
Am very disappointed with the service of Bolokanani, a company dealing with people who are grieving need to be considerate of the situation. We submitted claims last week Thursday until now the claim is still on review by a certain committee. The funeral is this weekend now we suppose to go and seek loans to bury my father whereas my mother has been paying for years.
