Ordered the chicken livers for dinner. Was excellent. Was forced to go to front desk to order another bread roll. Waited 25 minutes for the roll with no updates on the slow delivery. Sent the leftovers back angry. Was then told by front desk that they had to wait for the roll to be warmed up. Why no one came to tell me I don't know. I was extremely angry. With 2 friends that live in Somerset and never been to Bossa, they will never come back

As it stands Bossa has failed to pay my remuneration after multiple attempts to follow up and ask for my remuneration. Individuals involved in the case at this time (those who are aware and responsible to oversee payment) are Nadia, Dewald, and another manager. Dewald has ignored my requests for feedback on the situation as hasn't assisted in resolving it. Both managers I have spoken to keep referring to Nadia whom they say is responsible for arranging payment to me with the accountants. I was supposed to receive my remuneration on the 25 of February and to date the required payment has been ignored. There were no complications regarding my departure from the company and remuneration was promised and earned and is legally obligated to be paid however payment is long overdue and Bossa's management is seemingly not planning to pay me for my days worked.

We went for supper on Friday evening and was welcomed by very friendly staff. Their food was good as always and our waiter very attentive. I have just noticed that their portions have shrunk lately.. for example, the Chicken Schnitsels are not as big as it used to be and the hamburger buns seems to be a bit smaller, but I could be mistaken. But all and all, it is always such a pleasant experience to dine there.

I'm so disgusted by Bossa Somerset West. I've been a good customer to them for years. Tonight we went to celebrate my nephew's 7th birthday party. As we entered the waiter made her way to us and seated us outside. We were happy with our seating and it went well. We had our drinks served. While waiting on our food for almost a whole 45 minutes the food was served cold. We didn't complain at all but what really ****ed me off was when we asked the waiter to bring the bill she was all over the place as she had too many tables that was waiting on her and asked another waiter to bring the bill. Eventually we stood up and went to go pay at front desk. She came with the card machine and each one paid their bill with a tip. We all went to the cars and my sis went to the bathroom before we left. When my sis came out, she asked if we didn't include our tips as the waiter Theola came to her and told her that we only gave her a R17 tip and we are supposed to give a 10%, than my sis gave her extra for the tip. First of all Theola it's not compulsory to give 10%, that's only when the service was good and you were poor at service!!! You had the nerve to question your customers regarding the tip that was given. Secondly don't be uitgevriet for tables when you can't get to everyone only because you want that juicy tips, you got to work for it. You can be ****ing glad I only heard about it when I got home cause I would have made a moerse at the spot! Bossa Somerset West I hope you give your staff proper training regarding the bill and tips! Theola went home with 30% tip of the bill. Please don't me wrong I will give my waiters a good tip but do your job right and don't be uitgevriet!!!

It's always such an amazing experience stepping into Bossa Somerset West. The staff are always friendly and eager to help and the food.. Don't get me started on the food. Steaks, pizza, wings.. Everything I have ordered has been tasty. The drinks the ambiance everything screams laid back with sophistication. Will definitely be going back

Great food, good covid protocol and excellent service. I loved our waitress Dani Rose, apparently her full name is Daniella rose Meunier. What a charming knowledgeable and completely professional young lady. A smile to melt a thousand hearts and service like silver star. Trouble is we went back now after prohibition and she isn't there anymore. It's a sad day for Bossa, dunno if she left or they didn't invite her back after lockdown. She's a real diamond, absolute asset to the restaurant.

We used to stay in Gordon's Bay so we had our sweet spot for having a good time. Recently we relocated to Somerset West and Bossa is definately our new spot! I honestly cannot complain about anything. The food has always been good, the service has always been good and they are well priced. Value for money and a decent spot to have a good social time. A lot of restaurants can take notes from these guys
