I had the best experience in this spot.from the moment you walk in the staff is friendly,warm and welcoming. The food is thee best and i ddnt have to wait for ages to get my food. I would 300% recommend anyone to visit. The atmosphere, ambiance and of course the ocean view. I had the best experience. Keep it up Bossa ♥️♥️♥️

We were on holiday in Somerset West for a couple of weeks, and we decided to have a final breakfast before we leave. We were five in total. We invited my cousin to come and join us, as we only see her maybe once a year. We decided on BOSSA Strand because of the wonderful view over the ocean, but what a DISASTER! We arrived there just after 10:00. We were taken to our table, and that is where the service ended. After about 15-20 minutes of waiting, a waiter pitched and asked if we wanted to order something to drink. DISASTER #1 Then the waiting started. We waited for more than an hour just for three coffees, one tea, and a Milo. We had to ask twice why we were waiting so long, and it was one excuse after another. Too many orders, short of staff in the kitchen, and and and... bla bla bla. When the coffee finally arrived, the coffee, tea, and milk were cold, and we did not receive the Milo. Back to the kitchen, and we waited, and we had to ask for sugar. At the end we asked the table next to us if they were finished with their sugar so we could at least drink our coffee and tea. While we were waiting, we decided to order the food, as we were pushed for time and we didn't want to wait another hour, like the drinks, for our food. DISASTER #2 But again, we had to ask what was happening with our breakfast. It was a simple order… four Waffle stacks and an Egg Benedict. When our breakfast finally arrived, there were only three waffle stacks...??? When I finally got mine, the egg was NOT sunny-side up as ordered. We started to wonder if you sit next to the windows overlooking the ocean, you are upper-class, because we noticed people were seated long after us and they left before us, receiving their coffee and breakfast in a jiffy. My sister also visited BOSSA Strand earlier in the week, and they also had to ask for service. BOSSA Strand, you have a beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean, but you must seriously pull up your socks; you are going to lose customers. I will never ever support you guys again.

Go to Bossa Strand at 3 o'clock to book a table for 6 o'clock. Told fully booked. Then ask to be put on a waiting list. Told not possible. Have to go stand outside and wait. This for a family of 6 with extreme cold outside.

Food amazing service poor at the bar section. Never had such **** service at bossa. We were ignored yesterday and had to ask for cutlery after received our food. To get drinks was another story They kept on forgetting taking other peoples drinks that ordered after Us. I even fetched my own drinks because we seemed to not be tend to. To top it all off when we begged for the bill they forgot about that too and when it came to it for us to pay we got attitude. Reading this the staff that served/not served us wouldnt even remember this. All family and friends I would advise you to rather support Bossa Somerset west.

The service was really poor. The manager for some reason didn't want us to be seated at certain seats. When we eventually got a seat where we were comfortable she comes over to tell us it is reserved for 6:30 and it is only 2:45 really, I myself was disappointed buy the cold food that we were served as well. Worst experience ever is the restaurant not for South Africans because racism is clearly seen in the way customers gets seated.

Worst experience ever is the restaurant not for South Africans because racism is clearly seen in the way customers gets seated.
