We spent our anniversary at Bowl'd Restaurant, Bar & Lounge today and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in. Our waiter, Sibusiso Dlamini, was absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed every moment of our special day. The food was phenomenal, the music was fantastic, and the ambiance was mesmerizing. Every aspect of the restaurant came together to create a truly perfect evening. I'd like to extend a big thank you to Sibusiso Dlamini for making our anniversary even more special. If you're looking for a spot to impress someone special, I highly recommend Bowl'd Restaurant, Bar & Lounge. It's a great choice for a romantic evening out or any occasion where you want to feel like a VIP. The service, food, and atmosphere are top-notch, and we can't wait to come back.

Went back for the service and bottomless mimosas. Not so much the food. I believe they can do with improvement in that department

Hi Bowld Team, I’d like to share some feedback that I hope will be received in the spirit of improving what is already a great experience. I recently attended my second brunch/bottomless mimosa event at your establishment on 30 August with a few friends. As with my previous visit, the service was excellent and the overall vibe was enjoyable—thank you for that. However, I feel compelled to raise a concern that significantly impacted our experience this time. A group seated at a table opposite ours became excessively intoxicated during the course of the brunch. The noise level escalated to the point where it was nearly impossible for us to hold a conversation. Over the span of a few hours, several individuals at that table passed out at their seats, while others continued drinking loudly. This created an uncomfortable and disruptive atmosphere for surrounding patrons. To be candid, the scene resembled something far removed from the upmarket Sandton experience Bowld is known for. It felt more like a rowdy bar than a refined brunch venue. I believe this detracts from the brand and ambiance you’ve worked hard to cultivate. I strongly recommend implementing a stricter policy around alcohol consumption—particularly for bottomless offerings. Staff should be empowered to intervene when guests become visibly intoxicated, and there should be a zero-tolerance approach to patrons passing out at their tables. Escorting such individuals off the premises would go a long way in preserving the quality and reputation of your venue. As such, I regret to say that this was likely my last visit. I truly hope Bowld takes this feedback to heart, as I would love to return in the future under better circumstances. Warm regards,

I am so disappointed in my experience at Bowl'd. It was my boyfriends birthday lunch and was meant to be a special day for him. Everything about our experience here was utterly shocking. From service to food to "value" for money. When we first arrived, the waiter took ages to arrive to take down drinks orders, same thing when we wanted to place orders for food. We then asked for a jug of water for the table, which was brought, with glasses to drink the water out of. I eventually had to get up as nobody came to assist, and asked another waitress to please bring glasses, she said sure - yet again the glasses did not arrive. When our food came - more issues. Namely: - my ravioli was ICE cold and drowning in so much sauce it was unpleasant. -my friend found a long piece of hair inside one of her ravioli pieces. - another friend found a BUTTON in his butternut, and his steak was asked to be medium, it was rare if not blue. We told the manager about both these incidences, yet not as much as an apology was made to the table. - we wanted ice cream from the ice cream bar but lone and behold, the freezer was not working and the ice cream was mush and crystallised when the waiter tried to scoop a serving, yet again no apology to be found. Just to top off our "lovely" experience, my friend asked for a cappuccino, to have with the birthday cake I had brought, since we could not have ice cream, and that only arrived after we had received the bill. OH - and none of the kitchen staff as much as pretended to wear a mask. They are dealing with the food we are eating and no precautions are taking. They should not be operating with this hygiene standard, I am so disappointed. I would love to know how and why this restaurant is still in operation? For the prices you pay, you would expect it to be on the standard of Aurum, Saint and Marble. Utterly horrific experience. Will never step foot in this restaurant ever again, and recommend others not to either. They don't even deserve the one star if I am very honest.

I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant, it was my mates birthday lunch we were a group of 10, I was extremely excited to try this restaurant out it seemed classy and a vibe, but I was I extremely wrong first your service was shocking we weren’t allocated 1 waiter but 4 which made it hard for us to hard to order, poor service the waiters where not friendly and when you asked them a question or to bring you something they did it with a lack of enthusiasm and very sour attitude that was absolutely disgusting for a first time customer it was Horrendous!!! To witness this I have never been more disappointed in my life, your manager where no where to be found and waited 5 minutes for a waiter to helps us your food was another story, while eating my butternut I bit onto a chef coats button that nearly broke my tooth also my friend had a hair in her food, while your head chef sat by the table and wasn’t helping or guide his staff to cook the meal back absolutely shocking service it took 20 minutes to make a Cappuccino. I am extremely disappointed and well never be coming back to this restaurant for the price of the food we paid we expect the service to be up to standard but was below poor and Borderline shocking, I hope of the survival of the restaurant this is sorted but you will never see me again PS IF I COULD GIVE HALF A STAR I WOULD!!!

Great ambiance and food. It’s really a hassle to use the steps to enter the restaurant, especially considering we were only ladies carrying goods in our high heels, provision to use the lifts to enter the restaurant should be made considering it’s a safety hazard utilizing the stairs
