Premium Price, "Superficial" Quality?
I am extremely disappointed that my Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres (DOT 2022) are already showing hairline cracks on the shoulder area. Bridgestone’s official reports dismiss this as "superficial" ozone cracking caused by the vehicle being stationary or under-inflated, rather than a manufacturing defect. It is unacceptable to be told to simply "monitor" visible rubber degradation on a premium performance tyre instead of receiving a proper resolution.

Utterly poor service from Bridgestone
I have claimed for a Tyre based on the warranty I purchase wit a new set . In January I claimed for pothole damage. Bridgestone said mid February. After getting the run around by the sales rep I put in a complaint on their web site. Ary Coetzee came back to me and arranged delivery on 18th Jan. Due to back order from sales department there Neo made excuses. So I waited for Feb date. THis has passed and I am now referred to Madia Magena. After emails I have not heard any feedback. Trying to sales department they send you back to reseption that does not answer the phone. Seems Bridgestone has no working processes

Bridgestone worst customer service, long to resolve tyre claims. Tyres are new but making noise.(Turanza RFT)
Evening, I have recently bought tyres at TWT and bought the Bridgestone brand. It’s been a month driving with these Turanza RFT and experienced loud tyres noises which I went back to tiger wheel and tyres to complain, this was escalated to Bridgestone rep after multiple calls without a response. I also raised this on their customer email bsaf.sales@bridgestone.co.za with very little support. Tiger had to intervene and they sent me a technician named Victor who came to my work place and touched the tyre, checked pressure while the car is stationary, then gave a recommendation for the tyre to be rotated( at that time bmw m sport uses 2 different tyres, front and back) . So Bridgestone sent an inexperienced guy to manage a claim. Instead of meeting me at Tiger and doing a proper check like any other brands would he came to touch my tyre. I bought this tyre and would not problem solve their issues and will not put alternatives to ensure this tyres doesn’t make a noise, they need to resolve their manufacturing defect not expect a customer to aid this their bad tyre. I wouldn't recommend Bridgestone to anyone if you want to get customer service. Do not buy the tyre as you will be dealing with *********** sales personals including a technical team that doesn’t know their own tyres. His excuse was that he works with trucks, then why did they send him.

Poor quality Bridgestone Tyres Sold at Tiger Wheel, Richards Bay I recently purchased 4 Bridgestone run-flat tyres from Tiger Wheel in Richards Bay for about R28k two months ago. While driving from Durban to Richards Bay, about 70 km from Richards Bay, one of the tyre lost pressure. Knowing that the tyres are run-flat, I decided to drive at a low speed to get home and fix the tyre the following day. To my surprise, I didn't even manage to drive 20 km before the tyre was completely destroyed. I had to stop and make arrangements to get home safely. The way the tyre got torn apart in less than 20 km driving at 60 km/h, it was is obvious that the tyre is of poor quality. I had much respect for Bridgestone as a brand, but this experience disappointed me. The tyre did not even last me more than two months. I went back to Tiger Wheel the following day, and their attitude was as if they didn't care. My advice to those who value their safety is to stay away from Tiger Wheel Richards Bay. They sell substandard/**** tyres. Bridgestone really needs to investigate whether their retailers are not selling counterfeit tyres, or they really need to improve their quality. I am never buying Bridgestone tyres again, and most definitely, I will never buy tyres from Tiger Wheel again. I had a very bad experience.

Bridgestone tyres
Bought set if 18 inch bridgestone 18inch runflats. In july 2025, only done 3000kms. Tyres are breaking off and separate. Turanza t005. Very poor quality, STAY AWAY FROM BRIDGESTONE TYRES. NO FEEDBACK FROM BRIDGESTONE AS YET. R14000, VERY POOR QUALITY

Bridgestone Poor Quality Tyres And Poor Service
It is a pity I did not consult Hellopeter before buying 4 new Bridgestone 256/70 x 16 Dueler tyres from HI-Q on the corner of Top and Atlas Road Boksburg. Within three days and 120km the left front tyre got punctured by a small piece of bone. I called HI-Q who informed me that the tyre is not under the 1-year free guarantee because the rim size is less than 16 inch. I must contact Bridgestone directly. What a waste of time, was told someone would contact me, four days later, nothing. Will not recommend this brand or HI-Q if you are looking for tyres

Bridgestone Poor Quality Tyres And Poor Service

No feed back at all
Otrago springbok koop ek 2x firestone 205/55r16 bande . Die bande is nie in vooraad nie ,en ek verstaan dit 100% en daar word mee gedeel die maandag 21.10.2024 dat die bande dinsdag 22.10.2024 daar sal wees . Dinsdag 22.10.2024 om 10 uur is ek daar en word met my mee gedeel die bande is opad dit is reeds op vanrhynsdorp . 15:00 gaan ek weer net om te hoor die bande het nog nie gekom nie maar is opad . 23.10.2024 is ek weer waarna die man wat die bande aan my verkoop het kathu toe gery het en dat die mede werkers met my meedeel hulle hoop die bande sal 24.10.2024 dalk daar wees . Ek bly n 110km van springbok af en glo die is bitter swak en sou graag wou he dat patrik net moes opvolg is die bande gelaai en opad voor hy my so op en af laat ry vir lee beloftes . Ek is gelukkig met die prys maar sy diens glad nie
