The Brokesure insurance brokers don’t even deserve a star. We have a blocked drain that is bringing in toxic fumes into the house. The matters was referred to them 3 days ago and we allocated a man who came to assess the matter carrying a rod.No tools, nothing says that he is plumber and he didn’t even introduce himself when he walked into the house. He assessed and his suggested that we get specialised machinery to unblock the drain.I have made over 15 calls trying to resolve the issue and we are on day 3 and no solution. The broker emergency is hopeless and of no assistance.I resorted to saying that I will pay for my own repairs and they referred me to plumbers who didn’t show up the whole day. Standard Bank was a pathetic insurance provider but brokesure seems to take the cake. From better to worse. This is our first 6 months with the service provider and I cannot begin to think of a forever after relationship with them. This is unacceptable and the fumes can make us sick.

I have honestly never dealt with such a lazy insurance broker in my entire career! Our policy documents show that 15% of our business insurance premiums go to this incredibly lazy broker as commission. Yet I can't for the life of me figure out how she can justify her commission given that she's done absolutely nothing for more than 3 years! Our policy schedule doesn't match up to our business assets and a brand new company SUV that was purchased in April this year is now replaced by a Ford Figo. Yes, a R465,000 SUV = Ford Figo for car hire! We've never once complained about the price of our premiums and we've never tried to cut corners with our cover. We've paid the highest rates for the worst possible service and our insurance cover doesn't match up to any of our assets. When we asked as to how this happened we got an arrogant response stating that we should have checked our insurance cover ourselves. I mean really, what's the point of having an insurance broker if they couldn't be bothered to assist in at least matching your assets to your cover? Are all insurance providers really this lazy?

Honestly giving even a 1 star rating overrates this broker company. Poor excuse for brokers, service and general attitude to be honest. I would highly recommend staying far far FAR away from this company, they are an absolute disgrace and give bad names to brokers. Never received anything but lazy staff, we need to do their job, still unsure why we were paying a broker fee, they lie and they are not on the client's side when it comes to claims. Atrocious

When my wife’s car was hit by hail the arrogance of the assessor was unreal. Unfortunatly I was away on business and was not able to assist. The assistance from our broker at Brokersure was minimal. My wife had to do all the work herself to finally get her car repaired. That included numerous visits to various panel beaters and dozens of e-mails. If she has to do all the work what is the broker there for. Maybe just to collect a commission.

On 6 January I received an e-mail from Brokersure stating that there would be changes made to our policy and that there would be a slight increase in the premiums. The e-mail consisted of three attachments, a policy word change with no premiums included, a debit order authorisation form with no premium and a letter from the insurance company informing me of the changes and no premium included. I e-mailed back asking what the new premiums would be, the first two e-mails I sent were ignored, only the third was answered by a phone call. The excuse was that the broker was on leave and had only just returned. This means that while my broker is on leave my account is ignored. I requested the premiums and on 14 January I received the same three documents via e-mail with no mention of the premiums. A future few e-mails and phone calls and I received the same three documents. I decided to go directly to Mutual and Federal but was again ignored. I don’t know why nobody will give me the premiums. That starts alarm bells ringing. Something is not right here. When someone refuses to give you the information on the amount of money you will be paying then there is something not right somewhere.

My home has been burgled on the 20/8/15 and up to now I have gotten no joy from my insurance company. Kathy is d person who is dealing with my claim and she very sheepishly hides behind emails & passes the buck onto everyone else. She can never be straight up &honest with me. For a person working there for so long how can a claim take over 3 months? Especially since we sent her everything within +/- 2weeks. She then sent me an acceptance of loss which was almost half the amount I claimed stating clauses from my policy which I did not adhere to. She did not even read my policy where it clearly states these clauses are not applicable.I was falsely told the first assesor did not do his job properly and sent a 2nd one however he was not an assesor but an investigator. Nevertheless I had nothing to hide so it was fine. Now she almost robbed me of over R 20 000 by not reading my policy properly. I had to point this out to her and up to now she doesn't even apologize. She always tried to avoid me & said I must deal through my broker. However, when she messed up she sent me the stuff directly & didnt go through my broker. How is that fair?I feel I am being prejudiced&she has a bad attitude!
