I am writing this complaint following a disappointing and deeply concerning experience at Bafflesport ATKV Lodge, where I witnessed clear racial exclusion and discriminatory behaviour. During group games and activities hosted at the lodge, the facilitators and staff refused to communicate in English, even after being politely asked. They insisted on using Afrikaans only, despite the fact that there were black guests present who clearly could not understand or participate fully. This behaviour appeared deliberate it was as if English-speaking black guests were being intentionally excluded from the fun and interaction. South Africa is a diverse and multilingual country, and it is completely unacceptable in this day and age for a hospitality establishment to act in a way that promotes language-based exclusion, especially in a way that aligns with racial divisions. What should have been a welcoming, inclusive environment instead became a space that made many of us feel unwelcome and alienated. I am extremely disappointed and urge Bafflesport ATKV Lodge and the broader ATKV group to reflect on how this behaviour undermines the spirit of unity and non-**************. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, and that steps are taken to train staff to be more inclusive, respectful, and aware of South Africa’s cultural and linguistic diversity. We deserve better.

We spent a few days at the resort and enjoyed it tremendously. A very safe environment. Several swimming pools with hot water till cold water. Indoor and outdoor pools. Clean roads. Security is strictly adhered to. Everyone that works there, from cleaners to office staff etc are very friendly and helpful. I walked around the resort in the evenings without threat of any kind. I road around on my bicycle. The plants and trees are lush and beautiful. The toilet facilities are spotless. Shop well catered with goods. Excellent restaurant. A nice variety of take away foods. ******s and springboks on the property. The villas, rondavels and tent houses are beautiful and well maintained. Outstanding caravan park facilities I would recommend this resort to everyone.

We went there the weekend of the 3rd of March for the Snotkop show, stayed there the whole weekend and paid R8000 for the weekend. We were 8 people who had to shower in ice cold water every morning and night, where our small children also had to shower in that cold water. I mean really we paid a lot for this weekend and couldnt even take a bath or shower bec of this problem!! Unacceptable

What a disappointment we are 4 pensioners just wanna come for a bite relax a bit and then go but no you're not a member It's not we gonna make drink disturb just wanted a relaxing day as pensioners but no they did not get hurt enough by covid

Thank you to the cleaning staff and reception staff support for helping to retrieve a smart phone we left behind at our last visit. Your integrity and helpful nature to support me to administer the courier service to retrieve the phone is remarkable. Overall the supervision / general maintenance support we required during our stay was outstanding and very quick. Thank you for a fabulous stay. See you soon!

So I made a booking last week and was notified any changes could be made afterwards. Since Monday morning I have been struggling to amend my booking and add on another camp site. I have emailed about 10 times called 6 times probably more. I have spoken various staff members and told they will email me. I am waiting I even emailed myself to make sure my emails are working correctly and gave qn alternative work email that's used all day to get my new booking number and the amended one for payment but still no mail. I am frustrated and raised my voice Albemarle the lady who helped me told me it's not their side and I know it's mine and when I asked for it to be whatsapp she dropped the call, obviously I got ****ed when I called again the guy Moses or job then decided he would do the same. We haven't arrived and this is how we treated. I have every right to be upset it's been 4 days no new quote or even a call to ask if my email was received and I paid a deposit.
