Extremely Disappointed with Service at Horizon View Car Service Center
I have been a loyal customer of the Horizon View Car Service Center since 2021 and have always trusted them to service my vehicle. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. About two weeks ago, I took my car in for its 232,000 KM routine service. Before the service, the vehicle was driving perfectly, with no issues at all. When I got it back, it started jerking during gear changes, lost power when accelerating, and the engine warning light came on. These problems only started after the service. I returned the car, and the staff admitted fault, saying a part had been ordered and would be replaced. They didn't explain what part, but I trusted them based on our long-standing relationship. When I got the car back, they had replaced the engine oil switch, yet the car was still behaving exactly the same. I went back again and spoke to the manager, Jaco van der Westhuizen, who told my husband and I that if the issue turned out to be unrelated to the oil switch, we’d have to pay for the inspection and the repairs, even though the car was running perfectly before their service. To make matters worse, they promised to follow up and contact me, but I’ve still heard nothing. This has left me with a car in worse condition than before, and no clear answers or accountability. I’m extremely disappointed and just want my car returned to the condition it was in when I brought it in. After years of loyalty, this experience has shattered my trust in this service center.

Car Service City Horizon View - Poor workman ship !
Car Service City Horizon View works like babies. I took my bakkie in for a major service with parts and other sundries cost me R3778.99. They replaced the air filter with new, but I discovered that the aircon filter wasn't installed in is air filter housing correctly and one of the side plastic clips that supports the housing to close over the filter with *****s. I advised them of this via a call and via email telling them this. I wasn't even sent an apology over the phone nor an email. Just to send them the pictures of it. My daughter is only 11 years old could do a better job. I bought some Q - bond which cost me R90.00 and fixed it myself, and installed the air filter correctly, by doing it this way - by tightening the *****s didn't put in strain on any of the plastic side clips of the housing. Seems like if, it's not there's - they don't care how it fits. I will never make use of this Branch. Just hope other branches don't work like this. As I will not accept this type of Service from anyone.

Car Service City Horizon View
Been taking both my SUV and my wife’s Hatchback there for the last 2 years, I always get the best price and best service. They always go the extra mile. I highly recommend the Horizon View center.

Terrible Communication Line
What terrible service I got from these guys. I have never been disappointed like this in 2023. These guy stripped my car and told never told me it will take almost a month to find the part and assemble the car engine again. I kept on sending emails and had no respond. I called more than 10 times and they kept on saying they will get back to me. No communication from the Workshop manager Jaco and when I went there to get feedback, he made me sit for 30 minutes only to tell me the car is not ready.

Very useless, I wouldn't recommend anyone to take their car to Car Service City Horizon, in fact I would not recommend Car Service City to anyone. After being quoted a high price my car still comes back with the same problem, I don't even know of the mechanics there work under supervision or just do as they please. Really dissapointed.
