Please be careful of these guys. Centurion Appliance Repairs They came out to check my freezer, and to quote on regas. The ‘Technician’ cut open the pipe where it needs to be regassed to test, I suppose. He then told me he needed to flush the system, replace the filter and regas, quoted R1400. I told him I can’t pay that now, and that we can have a look at it the end of the month. His assistant then said the price is negotiable, how much am I willing to pay…🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ I then said, it’s ok, let’s wait till the end of the month. I paid them the R150 callout, which is apparently on the website and no one told me this before they came out, but ok. After they left, upon inspection, I noticed the guy who checked the freezer cut off the thermostat, he also cut 2 other pipes, FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER!! The freezer worked, just needed a regas, now he did that? Did he do it out of spite, or just incompetence? The repairs on the freezer will now be way more than it should’ve been, and I am stuck with that bill. I’ve made contact with the owner and he just doesn’t bother to respond to messages. BEWARE!!!

0 Comments Sort by Newest I used Dean today 03/11/2021 - they did not fix my fridge, and it is still not working it looks ;like they are running a scam he works with someone called James they are using a phone number called 0676978762 He came to my place for a fridge re-gas then said the fan is not working R1100 later fridge is still not working now he is not answering calls and saying the vehicle is broker he says is working from a shop in Gallagher Estate in Midrand i am going to file a complaint with SAPS this afternoon

My Snowmaster icemaker packed up and I phoned Centurion Appliance Repairs. They came out the same day to look at the machine and Dean informed me that they have to take the machine to their workshop to repair. According to their invoice, they replaced the compressor and fixed the PC Board and charged me R1800 for it. They did not want me to do an EFT, but insisted on cash. They brought the machine back the next day, switched it on and i could see that the icemaker was icing up as was expected. Dean then left. An hour later the machine had still not produced any ice, the machine had stopped and both red start and stop lights came on. I phoned Dean and informed him that the machine is in fact NOT fixed. He said he will come back to us. The following day, he had still not shown his face and I called again, this time, no answer. Later on I called from another number, and again he said he will come and check. Needless to say, he has still not been here. I fixed the machine myself, by cleaning a little filter which was clogged up. I feel like i have been taken for a ride.

I booked a appointment with Alan (Centurion Appliance Repair) on Tuesday to come out an have a look at my faulty washing machine . Appointment was scheduled for Wednesday 16h30. He said I must text him the address and time of appointment. I phoned Alan on Wednesday morning to confirm the appointment. He said yes they will be there at 16h30. At 16h45 , still no one showed. I phoned Alan AGAIN. He said they are coming they are on their way. Guess what. I am still waiting. No phone call no apology. This is totally unacceptable. Very poor client service.
