Active since Dec 2018
On the 12th of May 2022 I requested a settlement quotation on my personal loan account with Nedbank, which has been handed over to attorneys that I've been paying for years already after Nedbank increased the interest rate to 27% for WHO knows what reason. Anyway, the same day I received the settlement quote I paid the amount, sent proof of payment and a few weeks later received the paid up letter from Nedbank. Now, 4 months later Nedbank is saying I still owe an outstanding amount on that account. I've tried to contact them today, every time the person I am talking to cannot help me and forwards me to someone else, after more than an hour on the phone the call gets dropped, and both numbers someone gave me don't work. Nedbank can contact me back now, I'm done holding. I have my paid up letter from Nedbank, and my proof of payment, that account is no longer active, and I owe nothing.
I received absolutely bad service from Planet Fitness in Springs Mall. Dec 2019 my wife and I applied for a 12 month contract with them. They couldn’t put us both on one contract, so the agent, Dean, drew up my wifes contract first, we went through everything, all was well, and we signed. He then drew up my contract, assuring us that they’re both exactly the same, so I just signed mine, seeing they were the same. After lockdown, and not being billed for a few months, and then started being billed again, we tried going to the gym, but the sanitizers really made the equipment look bad, almost really old and worn out, so we decided to stop the contracts after the 12 months were over. So I emailed them and asked that the 2 contracts be stopped after the last month, giving a months notice. They then confirmed my wifes contract will be stopped however, if I want to stop mine early, there will be a R1500ish cancellation fee… Long stort short, my contract, that was the same as my wifes contract, was made out for 24 Months, and not the 12 we agreed upon. Anyway, so I left it there for a few months longer, and eventually I have saved up some money to pay the cancellation fee of R1500(whatever) I agreed to the cancellation fee seeing that no one from Planet Fitness wanted to talk to me about how their agent *****ed me over. So they deducted the fees and all was fine. A few months later they contact me, saying I have an outstanding amount of R480 somethin. And that they only deducted R1115, and not the full R1500(and something) we all agreed on… They’ve been harassing me ever since. I wanted to pay, while I had the money, now I don’t anymore. They’ve even got attorneys to harass me now to get the payment from me, to avoid further legal action… the same has happened to a friend of mine, also through Planet Fitness.
Please be careful of these guys. Centurion Appliance Repairs They came out to check my freezer, and to quote on regas. The ‘Technician’ cut open the pipe where it needs to be regassed to test, I suppose. He then told me he needed to flush the system, replace the filter and regas, quoted R1400. I told him I can’t pay that now, and that we can have a look at it the end of the month. His assistant then said the price is negotiable, how much am I willing to pay…🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ I then said, it’s ok, let’s wait till the end of the month. I paid them the R150 callout, which is apparently on the website and no one told me this before they came out, but ok. After they left, upon inspection, I noticed the guy who checked the freezer cut off the thermostat, he also cut 2 other pipes, FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER!! The freezer worked, just needed a regas, now he did that? Did he do it out of spite, or just incompetence? The repairs on the freezer will now be way more than it should’ve been, and I am stuck with that bill. I’ve made contact with the owner and he just doesn’t bother to respond to messages. BEWARE!!!
On the 28th of April 2020 I requested an upgrade on my Fibre from 20/10 to 100/50. Within a few minutes the confirmation came through, and I was set. Although I only got about 50mbps download... On the 29th of April I contacted Afrihost, explained the situation, they refreshed the connection and I was getting around 97mbps download, happy. The last few days I am only getting, at most 40/20. On the 6th of May I contacted Afrihost again, they said they had an issue on the line, and that can take up to 48hrs to resolve. Today, the 8th of May, I wanted an update, and now they're saying my 100/50 line will only be applicable from the 1st of June 2020 because the 'free upgrade' on my 20/10 line has already been put through... Even though I have already been billed for the 100/50 line, and they charged me Pro-rata from the 28th of April. So, I am now paying for a line that I am not even getting HALF the speed I should... best of all, it WAS working perfectly at 100/50. Apparently, the 'fault' submitted on the 6th of May, was closed by the technician, and now everything has to start all over again, 24-72hrs to be resolved... I expect his to be resolved still today. Either my speed is fixed, OR I get refunded for this waste of time.
My previous review, as seen below, has STILL not been sorted because I am still receiving those stupid messages. #BlackFriday I am receiving SPAM SMSs almost daily, sometimes I will receive 2 messages minutes apart. I cannot reply on those messages as they just return undelivered. I have sent emails to Cartrack regarding this issue, and it just seems like they couldn't care less. They've replied saying that it's not them sending the messages. Well, seems like Cartrack is getting free publicity from someone, but also getting ****py reviews like this one too.
I'm not receiving notifications of my data reaching a certain percentage of depletion, my wife works from home sometimes and needs internet for her IP phone for the office. For the past few months now I've not received a single notification warning me that my monthly cap is running low, everytime I correspond with support, they tell me that it's been sorted and I will receive notifications the next time, only to find out that I hadn't received any notifications once I cannot connect to the internet anymore and see that my cap has run out. Excuses, excuses, promises, etc.....

In 2015 I was involved in an accident, not my fault, the guilty party's car was not licensed at the time, but I felt sorry for her and didn't contact SAPS to intervene. King Price assured me that they will claim my excess back from the guilty party as well as the costs for the repairs done to my car. A year after the accident I contacted King Price to get an update on the matter, all their correspondences pointed to the fact that they have not yet made any attempt to get the money back yet, at that time I was still a loyal paying client of King Price. A few weeks later, after numerous emails from my side, they said that the matter has been handed over to an attorney as they need to make a plan to get the money from the guilty party. Once again, I waited, patiently. A few months later I again contacted them, and they still had no answer, except that they received an affidavit claiming that the guilty party couldn't pay them because she didn't have a job at the time... NOW, a few weeks ago, I once again contacted KP, hoping that this would have made some progress, they first had to get the documentation back from the attorney as the attorney no longer does business with KP. King Price now states that it is uneconomical to further pursue this matter, and will not continue. NOW all of a sudden, they tell me that I was never guaranteed that I will receive my excess back after a claim. BEWARE OF KING PRICE! The guilty parties have more right to your money than you have yourself.
Last year July I bought a brand new Opel Corsa 1.0t Essentia. This year January the engine light came on and the turbo would stop working, I took my car to Williams Hunt Centurion, they reset the error and sent me on my way, the next day same problem. They reset the error once again. Next day, same. They booked the vehicle in to have it inspected, after which they came to the conclusion that it was the computer that was at fault. They replaced the computer as well as the turbo, all under warranty. About 2 weeks later I noticed a noise coming from the engine, and decided to check the oil level, bone dry, I contacted Williams Hunt and they informed me to use Multigrade oil, which I then did, I took it back to them to inspect. Since then my car is using oil like MAD. In October the engine light came on AGAIN, I took the car to Williams Hunt Edenvale, they inspected the vehicle and replaced the turbo, again. I took my car back there yesterday (18/12/2018) for the same problem, first they said that there was nothing wrong, no engine light, no errors... Today they said that it looks like there's something wrong with the motor, as there's lots of smoke inside the engine while it's running. NOW they reckon that is why the car uses more oil than normal. I am going on leave tomorrow, and Opel cannot confirm whether I will have a courtesy car by then. This is my 3rd Opel which I've owned, and the 6th Opel we've had in the family, sadly enough I am SERIOUSLY over OPEL, NEVER AGAIN will I buy an Opel. Yes, everything gets fixed under warranty every time, but when the warranty runs out, this is going to be MY problem!?
