Review: Cetaphil Promoter & Promoter Manager – Dis-Chem Menlyn I had a very disappointing experience with the Cetaphil promotion at Dis-Chem Menlyn. I visited the store and purchased over R1700 worth of Cetaphil products after being assisted by a promoter who informed me that I would receive a complimentary gift with my purchase. Unfortunately, the experience that followed reflected extremely poor service and lack of professionalism from both the promoter and the promoter manager. Firstly, the promoter was not wearing any uniform or name tag, which already made the interaction feel informal and unprofessional. After I completed my purchase, she called her manager and told me to come back at 1pm to receive the promised gift because it was not available at that moment. When I returned at 1pm, the promoter was no longer there. I then came back the following day at 11am, bringing my slip as requested, and again the promoter was not present. I spoke to the store manager, who asked me to come back again and took my contact details so that someone could call me when the promoter was available. To date, no one has contacted me. What makes this even more frustrating is that I made a significant purchase based on the brand promotion and promise made by the promoter. I am now left feeling that the products were promoted under misleading circumstances simply to secure a sale. I am also unable to give feedback about the product itself. For example, the sunscreen leaves a noticeable residue and feels extremely sticky when paired with the moisturiser, which is something I wanted to discuss with the promoter or brand representative, but I have had no opportunity to do so due to the lack of follow-up. Overall, I am very unsatisfied with the service provided by both the promoter and the promoter manager. Customers should not have to return to a store multiple times or chase after a brand representative for something that was clearly promised at the point of sale. I hope this matter is taken seriously and that the Cetaphil brand ensures better professionalism, accountability, and customer care during in-store promotions.

This sunblock does not work at all- and the company does not care. There is no one to contact to get any information- those who you can contact do not seem to care at all. Stay away from this brand. If you’re looking for skincare that works. You do not want to mess around with sun damage. I went to the beach for two hours and my face got burnt. I am extremely disappointed - I try to take good care of my skin and your product has led to sun damage - the opposite of what I was expecting the product to do. Purchased from Clicks V&A 15 Jan 2024 LOT: 3G74004 MFG: 03/2023 EXP: 03/2026 I logged the complaint in January 2024, it took 20 days to get a response - they said they would arrange collection for to test the product. It took 5 months before it was collected- I followed up a month after collection- received a vague response and never heard from them again.

Very very poor customer service from you guys. I emailed them regarding the foam face wash pumps not working after 2 to 3 uses. They will not do follow ups with you until you email them to find out what is happening. I first sent them a mail on the 11th of August.No response from them until the 14th. I had to call the number on the return email after that to find out what is happening... only to find out that the person that handles complaints isn't in and when they get back to work they will contact me. Eventually someone did email me back apologising stating that there is a common issue with the pumps. In no way we're they going to actually assist. I had to request that they at least reimburse me. She says that the manager or her superior I'm not quite sure will contact me.... nobody has communicated with me at all. Things things are not cheap for us to always be keeping quiet. This is my second bottle purchased in the last two months with the same issue. Definitely will be changing my brand after so many years with Cetaphil. Customer service is pathetic.

The very best cream I've used for eczema-prone skin. If you have skin issues and have not tried this one, you may want to. Just be sure to get the cream and not the lotion. It seems a little pricey until you use it and get relief. Think you will be pleased with it if you have super dry skin as I have. I have been trying all shades and kinds of cream for my breakouts and my kids dry skin to no avail until I got this cream. I am super impressed at the way the ****les on my face cleared up after using the Cetaphil cream. I normally have to mix my body lotion with tissue oil to keep my skin moisturised and soft, with this one I don’t have to, it keeps my skin soft all day through. The cetaphil moisturising cream is also non-greasy. Very hydrating as indicated on the packaging. The whole family uses it as a face and body cream.
