My experience with CMH East Rand has been extremely disappointing. I initially took my vehicle in to have the water pump replaced, and I paid R9,600 for the repair. After collecting the vehicle and once the repair had already been paid for and supposedly completed, I noticed that the cooling system was leaking, which had not been an issue before the vehicle went in for the repair. While dealing with that issue, I also discovered that the cooling fan was not working properly and was making unusual noise. When I returned to the dealership to raise this concern, I was given several different explanations as to why the fan was not functioning. Instead of properly addressing the concern, I was informed that a new quote would need to be prepared for an additional R14,000. This situation is extremely frustrating because these issues only appeared after the vehicle had been repaired and returned to me. As a customer, I expected the repair to be done properly and for the vehicle to be returned in good working condition. At this point I am questioning the quality of workmanship and the transparency of the diagnostics provided. Customers should not have to face additional repair costs for problems that arise immediately after a major repair has been completed and paid for. I hope CMH East Rand reviews this matter seriously and works toward resolving it fairly.

I paid for spares on 17 May 2025. Now we are two months down the line. Numerous follow ups and enquiries left unattended. Emails go unanswered. Sill not delivered. Refund or deliver the goods for which you demanded 100% upfront payment.

Hi I have bought 2 vehicles from CMH East Rand, As they gave me a bit more time to get the relavend funds (from a pension fund) that was taking longer that 21days, they never told me that I would be paying any storage fees. The amount that was advertised for my 2022 Hilux 2.8 GD-6 was R90 000, and they said that is the full price that you pay. I also bought a Cherry Tiggo Pro 4 for the advertised price of R40 000, which they gave me discount of R5 000 because I am taking 2 vehicles. Then I get an invoice for Tax and customes for R38 999.99, which was suddenly due and had to be paid immediately. And of course the payment was made and then they would have delivered the vehicles to me in Potchefstroom in that weekend of the 15th of march. Then suddenly the truck which should deliver my vehicles, had a broken spring they said. The next thing when I asked when is my delivery coming, they suddenly had an issue because according to them (Mr Mohammed) the Hilux bakkie selling price was wrongly advertised by R30 000 less, and they demanded that I pay that amount before the can deliver the vehicles. I told them that was a mistake on their side and has nothing to do with me as they need to pay in that short fall, as nobody mentioned any thing about the wrong price through out our dealings, from the person that helped me from the first, using cell nr 078 670 5404, and one of the owners Mr Mohammed using cell nr 073 772 0349. When I refused to pay the amount of R30 000 they suddenly charged me with R8 500 for storage as well. At the end one of the other managers, I think it's Mr Radebe, said they will pay the R30 000 shortfall and that I had to pay the R8 500 storage fees, before the will give me my vehicles. I made the payment of R8 500 and Mr Mohammed made the payment of R30 000, according to the deposit slip I received from them, but suddenly there was a 72 hours hold on his account before that amount would show to the bankers. I also send a message to Mr Mohammed and said they will be liable for any storage because of his 72hour hold payment and he agreed to that, because that is none of my fault. Now today 24 March 2025, I have send a message to them, Mr Mohammed and the first responder to assist me, that the 72 hours are passed so when do I receive my vehicles, and still no response. When I phone they either don't answer or pickup and put the phone down without answering. I requested that they refund me and they said the cancellation fee is 15% of the amount that I have paid to them already, which roughly is about R30 000. They say I can cancel but that I have to pay the cancelation fee BEFORE I will be refunded. ( I don't think so) So these guys are quick to take your money and then they don't produce when they should. Payments made to these accounts : *PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS* ACCOUNT HOLDER. Deliver the Cherry Tiggo Pro 4 that was paid in full, and refund me for the Hilux (which they say they can't as the buy of the 2 vehicles are bound in one purchase, 3. Refund me ALL of my funds without your cancelation fee, as you are just dragging their feet.

CMH East Rand Service and Parts Department is diabolical. 1. My broken car stood in their parking lot for over a week post payment for them to even begin diagnostics. The entire repair took 3 months of constant back and forth and threats. 2. Once diagnostics were complete and I told them about my extended warranty the quote (for an engine overhaul) was over R 120 000.00 3. My insurance paid about R60 000.00. I paid R 12 000.00. Leaving me with a balance of about R 50 000.00. My suspicions grew and I decided to contact stellantis and get a comparative quote because the most expensive part (R 32 000.00) was a deal breaker for them and they insisted I pay cash. Well to my surprise Stellantis did not have the part on their system, a system CMH East Rand uses to source parts. 4. Once that **** came to light the quote suddenly drops to just over R 70 000.00 but I had to wait close to 3 months for any real progress to be made. 5. It's now December, my father is making threats, and my car is ready for collection. We collect the car but my Aircon and tyre sensors do not work and I'm liable for the repairs. After a protest they fix the Aircon but refuse to take accountability for my tyre pressure sensor which I later discover was removed from my vehicle while it was on their floor. 4. They then quote me over R 5000.00 for one tyre pressure sensor, which I bought for R 898.00 at Williams Hunt via Stellantis. So again they tried to **** me. 5. Yes, I did call CMH Headquarters and the manager I spoke to threatened me and said they're doing me a favour so I best behave and be grateful or they will take action. Long story short. CMH East Rand has a tendency of manipulating parts prices they claim are provided by stellantis. A business is expected to make a profit, granted, but you do not charge R3000 for engine oil, multiply every part by over 3 times it's worth to make a profit. That is *********. If I didn't enquire with stellantis, they would've walked away with over R 50 000.00 in profit, R 32 000.00 of that is a nonexistent part. Do with this information what you will but I would suggest you source parts at a reliable dealership and CMH East Rand is not. Their staff lacks accountability, lie with ease and gaslight you into believing their right and you're wrong, even when you have proof stating otherwise. They may counter my review but I have proof, I have kept every document and conversation, if you need to see the proof to believe me, I will gladly share it.

I enquired on a 2016 Renault Duster. At first i thaught they had great service because i got a instant replie after hours . The salesman said that he will send pics and a video of the car the next day. He did with my replie that i am in training till 12:30. He did call only to tell me that his managemet decided that the Duster is in too good condition to sell for the advertized price and that they are going to readvertize it for R10000 more and that i can buy it for the more expensive price. The price advertized was R149 k and they upped it to 159k. I told the salesman that i have a screenshot of the old adverizement and he said that i must come through to negotiate a price from R159k . I also have the conformation mail from Autotrader for the price i enquired on. This particular salesman changed the price on his facebook advertizement while another salesman have it on for the old price It is ********* and against the consumer law to do it the way the salesman handled it. I think the salesman made the decition increase the price as i wanted to buy the car cash which i told him .

Hello Peter I bought a part from CMH in January which they did not have in stock, but they promise to get the part for me from the States. Hello Peter I bought a part from CMH in January which they did not have in stock, but they promise to get the part for me from the States. Shocked and disappointed beyond belief with this what they call a German car from CMH East Rand, I bought a (( Citroen / Peugeot )) disguised as a German engineered Car with a Opel badge. YES THATS RIGHT - this Opel does NOT have a German engine - it has a Citroen/ Peugeot engine. This Opel crossland X has been in and out of the workshops for weeks on end and it’s a car that has Made me stop believing that German vehicles are awesome 🤬🤬🤬🤬 endless issues with cam belt ( not timing chain ) that runs in the oil. 1 litre of oil used per 1000km cam pulleys and cam shaft pulleys have been replaced less than 75000 km and the car keeps breaking Opel ——- just replace my car !!!!!!!! #opel #opelcrosslandx #opelcrosslandx2019 #opelsa #opelsouthafrica #opelgermany #frustrated #germantechnology #angry #frustrated #shocked #cmheastrand #hadenough #soangry #frustrated #engineproblems #camproblems #bull**** #hadenough #liedto #dontbuyopel

I bought a car that died a day after receiving it because they did not attach the battery properly. The sales guy said any problems they will assist with for 11 days after (Infront of witnesses). Now they say the car was sold as is and it is not really their responsibility.
