Never buy a used vehicle here!!!!! We recently bought a vehicle from them (it was a trade in), they assured us that the vehicle was in good condition and that it had been thoroughly checked and everything was up to standard. Barely a day after driving the vehicle it started popping up ‘malfunction’ and ‘engine’ warning lights, So we contacted them and they indicated that they’re aware of the issue so they’ll take the car and sort it out, in the meantime they will offer my wife a courtesy car to drive while they attend to our vehicle ( but we still had to beg and grovel for that vehicle) 🙄. So eventually they took the car in and took it to some mechanic who was supposedly fixing an airmatic sensor, and after a few days they returned the vehicle and assured us that the vehicle was now fine. Immediately after receiving the vehicle back, the engine light popped up again so we decided to take the car to our nearest Mercedes Benz so they could have a look and we notified Pieter ( the manager who will never answer your call) that we are taking it to Mercedes and that they will have to be held liable, he agreed. But why, after Mercedes has inspected the vehicle and sent us a quote of the issues that need immediate attention, Pieter then decides to private message Mercedes to have some of the items on the quote removed ( without notifying us by the way)?? even after Mercedes Benz persistently advised against it, Pieter insisted that the items be removed from the quote or else they wouldn’t pay. So Mercedes did as instructed. A day after fetching the vehicle, the initial airmatic ‘malfunction’ which Pieter had supposedly taken the vehicle to his mechanic to fix, came back on again, so we took the vehicle back to Mercedes Benz and they ran a diagnostic check, then notified us that the airmatic system has a leak and it is not among the things they were authorised to attend to when the vehicle came in. It’s been about a month of having the vehicle but we haven’t even spent a full week with the vehicle.

Took my car for a Service in July then a few weeks later the oil light come on. Which was weird but I got worried almost filled it up with oil again. Took a picture then forwarded it to my husband he said no don't put oil . He contacted them and took the car in for them to check. Only to find out that they forgot to reset the clock. Then later I also discovered that my book was never stamped or signed for the service done. We reported that the car was running heavy on fuel. Dianostics never picked up a problem. Two months later my car misfires took it back to Ford Hatfield they gave us a quote for R8000 then later another quote now for R54 000 which I had to pay out of my pocket. Because apparently my insurance King Price refused to pay the amount because the work to be done was in the head of the engin and not in the engine itself. My extended warranty only covers for the engine and not the head. Ford have been giving me the run around they can't even provide me with a proper report of what was done on the vehicle. It's almost 4 months later and I still sit with no car . Now they coming back and telling me that the car is still misfirering and wants to charge me an additional R40 something thousand rand. I feel my car was misdiagnosed. And obviously they will not admit it. My insurance contacted the person we have been dealing with. The person is named Morne and he told the insurance he can't remember all the work done on the car. Now my insurance is not paying a cent saying they can't validate the work done on the vehicle. I have asked for reports to submit with no success only excuses left and right. The Manager also of no use . Making empty promises that he will give me all the necessary documentation till this day I'm waiting. I regret the day I took my Ford Kuga there. Worst experience ever and what a financial burden. If I could give them a minus zero I would do that. I feel so cheated

I experienced excellent service from this branch and only take my car to them. Andrew the service advisor was very friendly and helpful even with my questions I had to driving more efficiently. The forman of the workshop of this branch also went beyond with service and assistance. I will always go to this branch and will definitely recommend other people to make use of their services.

I took my car for service again, for the third time since I bought my car from the same dealership. As usual, the service was great. Received worthwhile feedback from them, and I was also assisted well by the manager on the ground who took the time to answer my questions and physically measure and show me the brake pads size as I was asking about this. The service consultant who assisted me was Refilwe (she also assisted me in the previous service) and she was such a delight. I commend CMH Kempster Ford Hatfield for their great service, and I hope they continue to do the same for others.

I have bought 4 cars from this particular Ford branch, and have found that the service has gone to ****. The service quality and fault finding has become atrocious to say the least. The service are half done needing always to go back for something missed or not done properly. There is absolutely no communication from the managers or representatives, whom shall remain anonymous for now, to give updates or feedback. The other day while standing in the waiting room, I called the dealership and was placed on hold when asked to speak to the service manager. I saw him rather talking and joking around with his friends in the workshop than to take my call. I will not again do business with this branch again.

My review will be different to the previous ones. The sales executive Hennie Van Loggerenberg that handled my purchase of my used BMW. Firstly the deal needed to meet my tight budget, Both Hennie and Tyrone the branch manager worked the numbers to ensure the car came in on budget. When it came time to pick up car there was brand new Mustang which Hennie arranged for my teenage son to startup and listen to. Unfortunately the BMW has had powertrain issues but Hennie drove a courtesy car from PTA to Krugersdorp and picked up the Beemer to ensure as little inconvenience as possible. The battery was replaced free of charge with Hennie being only too happy to be of service. There has been constant follow ups to co-ordinate the repairs to the car. So from my side a big thumbs up to Hennie , Tyrone and the team at Kempster Ford Hatfield!
