Placed an order for blinds and installation at a fee of R1450 at the end of November 2025. Received the blinds, but never any communication around installation, that I ultimately ended up doing myself. Haven’t been able to get a hold of Decorland since the initial order was placed to request my refund.

I purchased on Decorland and the order and delivery was great, but when I had to return the goods as I accidently ordered more curtain rods than I needed, therefore I have 2 rods in the original packaging. I mailed their Customer service 3 times on their website and no response. I called the +27 31 396 9805 and an automatic machine answered and no response. I mailed salescpt@decorland.co.za and Worst service ever!!

I placed an order with Builders Warehouse on 16 November, which was shipped directly from their supplier, Decorland. After repeated delivery promises from their courier, RAM Hand-to-Hand Couriers, I only received the parcel on 28 November—nearly two weeks later and after a great deal of unnecessary frustration. To make matters worse, the order arrived incomplete. Given the poor communication, delays, and overall lack of service from both Decorland and their courier, I cannot recommend this company. The experience has been deeply disappointing.

In February 2025 a consultant from the Decorland came to take the custom measurements for a quote for 17 blinds. They installed on 10 March and almost all of the 17 blinds were damaged seemingly by how they were packaged in the box. Their office told me that they would fix this. After having to follow up, they came to fix the issue on 15 April (over a month). The blinds do not close properly and are seemingly getting worse where there are huge gaps at the bottom of many of the blinds while the top closes tight. If flipped the other way, the bottom is tight and the top has huge gaps that I can put my hands through. One of their consultants came to check it at the end of April. They sent me a quote for "another product" that they have for which I would have to pay an additional R16 000! A blind is a fairly simple thing in that the slats should open to allow light and see through the window, and close to not allow light or to see through the window. I have had blinds of this type at other houses without issues. The Decorland blinds DO NOT WORK and they are passing the costs on to me. It is now mid-June and I am still not satisfied. Based on the shocking reviews of Decorland on Hello Peter, I am surprised that they are still in business and regret having not read these reviews beforehand.

I made an online purchase for four items that were on sale on the 14th May that went through successfully and when I do a follow up on the 16th was advised thatbthe items I ordered were discontinued and would not be delivered to me. I advsied the consultant that I would alternative product for the same sale value of what I have ordered as this is is an error done by the store and not me but the disrespect full agent kept on insisting that I must top up the amount i order to be assisted. After advised numerous my that I don't want refund the agent Yuvati Suthkumar still went on to do the refund and canceled my order. The store is not taking any responsibility and doesn't seem to care about their customers. I want them to take responsibility and deliver the goods as ordered.
