Be very careful when buying from decortex. If you cancel the order they'll refuse to refund you and the service is the worst
I ordered couches from decortex in June 2021 via bidorbuy. I wrote my specifications on how I wanted them to be but they were not made according to my specifications, Akash said I wrote 'playing side' instead of 'laying side'. As a seller in that case you should contact the buyer for clarity as clearly that's a typo bcoz a couch has no playing side. Regardless I was still willing to receive the order. I sent a message asking about delivery on 11th August and until 25th they were still not delivered. On 25th I cancelled the order, and the bidorbuy consultant also sent messages to decortex about the cancellation. Days later they call about deliver and I told them I have cancelled the order. When I was sending messages a couple of times about deliver even bidorbuy consultant sent some decortex was not responding, which means if I get problems with the product post delivery I'll never get any service from them. Today is 20 January decortex has still not refunded me my money and worse of it all bidorbuy has failed to get me my refund even though I ordered and paid through them on their platform. If it was takealot or snatcher I would have received my refund long time ago.

I bought a lounge suite from Decortex through Bidorbuy just recently and it turned out to be nothing like the picture advertised. I complained about this and asked for it to be either corrected or have my money paid back. After weeks of deliberation between Decortex and Bidorbuy, it turns out that the lounge suite will be changed to suit what was on the picture...but I have to pay R1000.00 in transport costs?? This was not my error from the beginning and I'm still required to pay for it?? This is just daylight robbery! And I am still sitting on a lounge suite that I do not want.

These people should not be allowed to get away with things like this
Decortex advertised a lounge suite for half the normal price and I bought it. When I received it, it was nothing compared to the picture listed. I lodged a complaint with bidorbuy because it was listed with them and requested a refund, but the owner refuses to communicate with either of us. Decortex need to be put out of business because he is a liar and a cheat to put it mildly. I am R7000 out of pocket and sitting on a very uncomfortable and unwanted lounge suite.

Substandard couch
I bought a couch in April 2021 and when I try to sit on the couch I fall inside as if the couch is hollow inside. It’s as if people have been using the couch for years. The legs came broken and the plank they put on the side of the couch look like they have been there for years. How I lost my R8999 to substandard couch. People are laughing at me about this couch. I thought so highly of Decortex

I Purchased couches from Akash (Decortex) on the 29th of April 2021. I paid a deposit of R3500. 14 days later the couches were ready.... but it wasn't what I had ordered. Since then I have been waiting either for my refund or the correct couches!. AKASH from DECORTEX has now blocked my number on Whatsapp and whenever I call he cuts the call! I have sent numerous emails to this guy and he does not respond. Total scam.
