My money has not been returned to me. The company deducted more than R2,500 from my commission under the pretense of doing my FFC application. I later found out that there was no application and I had been wasting my time working for the company. Joleen knows very well of this *****ulent incident but will not return my money. I have proof. The company is full of ******. Agents are treated harshly. The company struggles to retain agents because of their horrible system. I am still struggling till today because of their lies and greed for money they did not work for. They curse out clients and talk very condescending towards their agents.

**** & Sue Home Finders is a *****ulent company. They **** their clients and mistreat their agents. Being a former intern agent of **** & Sue, their treatment of agents is horrible and their treatment of clients is worse. The moment you sign a binding document all kindness goes out the window and the problems begin. I don't recommend anyone to work with **** & Sue. They are also very ******, very very ******. The ****** is clearly visible.

I don’t even know which part should I start with. I was renting with ****nsue for over 6 now I think. I have rented with other properties but never had such bad experience with other property agencies. I moved out on the 31 of December. An inspection was done everything was fine clean. Expect the broken blind and replacement of key. Which I mentioned as well. Okay let me start with the contract it is stipulated on the contract that if no repairs to be done a deposit must be paid out within 7 working days, with repairs it’s not indicated how long but states that after repairs have been made you will be refunded. Okay but according South African law if I am correct outstanding money should be paid to no later than 14 days after the restoration of the property as dictated by the Act. I sent an email with my account details that please pay me the outstanding deposit on this account. No response from the agency. I gave it 3 days to get feedback still no feedback. And that inspection should be done by the agency inspector including the landlord. Which was not done, I was with the inspector.I sent another email saying when will I receive my outstanding balance. Only then the landlord said she hasn’t received the inspection sheet. All cost were stipulated I didn’t to agree to some of the things mentioned suck as window cleaning and toilet cleaning with cost R500. Why because when I moved in we never went outside or check window or what so ever. I just told myself that you know what it’s okay. I just need my money. Me and the landlord had and agreement on the 12 January 2023- 12:45 no feedback from then. On Monday the 15 I had to send another email asking the same question (When) I was told that due to their office hours they couldn’t process my payment so I take it that ****nsue closes at 13:00 on Fridays which is understandable they will process my money today which was Monday. I am still sitting here waiting for my deposit, and still not answered to (When will I receive my outstanding deposit) See what is actually frustrating is lack of clear feedback and being clearly informed. You need to ask them question over and over again. I believe that ****nsue is a professional property agency but how they give feedback and do certain things they are so ***********. Just one email that states the 5 why’s the process and waiting period. I need my money it’s been 17 days since I moved out.

Unlawfully added to ITC and charged for 2 months for flat that wasn't even occupied by me. Trying to resolve the matter Gert and Jolene says they don't have to help me because it was their manager Heinrich who made the mistake and not them although it was in **** and Sue capacity. Now I have to struggle to clear my name. They can't even sent threw the necessary documents.

Around 2013, I rented a property in Pretoria through **** and Sue Properties. As a standard procedure, I paid all the upfront fees, i.e. R4,500 (Deposit), R4,500 (One Month Rent Upfront). I presented proof of payment to **** and Sue before signing the contract. All was well and I moved into the property which I vacated in October 2016. While I was staying in the property, it got listed for sale on **** and Sue's website. At least the previous owner had informed me that the property was up for sale. Eventually the property got sold. The new owner came through and informed me of his intention to move into his new property as a matter of urgency. It meant that I had to look for a new place. I went back to **** and Sue Properties to demand my deposit back so I could move on with my life. I was told that I should demand my deposit from the previous owner who said he had never received any deposit money from **** and Sue. I had no choice but had to vacate the property without my money. The new owner was so desperate to move into his property and even offered to assist with money for deposit but I turned it down as I still had money invested with **** and Sue Properties. And to this date, I still don't have my money back and my understanding is that such amounts get invested in a 'trust account' or something. Just three weeks ago, I wrote to the company CEO and she called me back saying I needed to submit proof of payment before I could be refunded. I even spoke to the previous owner and asked him for our contract since I don't have the copy anymore - he said he would check but didn't find it. Both the previous owner and the new owner know that I was the tenant for many years in that property paying monthly rental of R4,500 to **** and Sue. The only proof I have in my possession is my old bank statement which shows at least three months payments to **** and Sue. In addition to that, the previous owner acknowledges that I rented his property through **** and Sue Properties. I have tried to get hold of the Rental Tribunal to no success - their lines are always busy. **** and Sue Properties simply do not want to bring my money back unless I provide proof of payment. They say they won't accept the bank statement or even the contract - they simply want the deposit slip. I asked them to check their statements but they do not have time for that. Regards, MM
