Diverse Point - beware.
Thank you HelloPeter for being a go-to place for checking out calls. I received a call from this company and they claimed to be representing Statistics South Africa and wanting to get some "pre-census" information. Looking at what others have written on HelloPeter, they were obviously not being transparent.

Hyper agressive telemarker
Hyper agressive telemarker. His phone number is listed on a sight with more than 40 adverse comments. Will threaten to close all your bank accounts if you do not provise your physical address. When I complained that he was harrassing me he ot very treatening and said that if he was in front of me then he would really harass If you Google his number there are many other comaplaints about him 0121110853

Hyper agressive telemarker. His phone number is listed on a sight with more than 40 adverse comments. Will threaten to close all your bank accounts if you do not provise your physical address. Lying, misleading and forceful telemarketing
These people use lies to get you to talk to them and then they're very pushy to make an appointment, not wanting no for an answer. They refuse to end the call, no matter how many times you tell them you're not interested.

I feel violated
Very bad business agents, no respect, very intrusive and tries their best to be overpowering. I can convert my R5000.00 portfolio to cash tomorrow at my will. No monthly fees. For free! and save money for the rest of my life when I buy bread and milk. Apparently my wife will divorce me if I don't take up this offer. Can't tell me where he got my number. No website. ********** 853

Unethical and Dodgy Business Practices
Telemarketer claiming that "you have been selected for a free R5000 share portfolio". Upon asking why they do not have a website - was told that google is too expensive and that there are associated advertising costs. I then asked them to rather send me a email - was told that the email is more than 20GB's or 350 pages and they cannot send it to ordinary email boxes. Extremely questionable and unethical business practices. Do not entertain these calls OR give out your personal information.
