I filled in their online request for a replacement key for my car, giving the make, model and VIN and stated that I would be in Cape Town on 14/8/20. On the morning I received a whatsapp, "R2000" and later, "model", followed by "year". I phoned this number, and spoke to Lee, and made the appointment to meet at the BP service station at the airport. Leroy arrived with an incorrect key and suggested we continue with the programming, bud the blade will be cut and couriered to me. I suggested I hold back R500 until I receive the proper blade (part of the replacement key), and Leroy spoke to his boss, who asked to speak to me, and said he understood my concern and that the value of the key is more than R1500, but that his company reputation is worth more than R500, so would I accept his counter offer of holding back R200, with his promise that the key will be delivered by Tuesday, 18/8/20. I paid R1800 in cash for the programmed key and promised to pay the R200 balance, upon receipt of the blade part of the key. On Monday 17/8/20 I got a whatsapp "when are you coming to Cape Town again", I replied "not soon", followed by "physical address", which I had provided to Leroy, but sent it again. No further communication from Drivesure and no key received. I phoned Lee on Thursday 20/8/20 and expressed my dissatisfaction and asked to speak to the boss, who was not available and couldn't return my call. Lee offered to send me a copy of the weigh bill, which I was obviously not interested in, since I had bought a key and any issues with the courier was theirs. ABSOLUTELY NO FURTHER COMMUNICATION FROM DRIVESURE, AND NO KEY. Unprofessional, incompetent and unreliable.

Worst service ever would never recommend your service to anyone. Took my car in for new keys and on the 13.12.2019 they closed for the holidays i begged that i could please collect my car at 3pm as they were closing at 12 and i was not able to make it for 12 but they refused so now im sitting without a car for my holidays while the owner is merrily away on vacation. How heartless can one be how do i enjoy my holiday if my car is locked in your workshop until the 7.01.2020. I even asked if i can collect the vehicle at the owners home but just a blatant no how very accomadating your service is pathetic i strongly will never ever refer your pathetic service to anyone. I would like my car asap 0613114034

I went to Drivesure in Northpine, Brackenfell this morning to have my Tata keys recoded and was met by the sales person Lee Africa.

The absolute worst service and attitude from anybody in a VERY long time.

He made it very clear that he was not in the mood to serve anybody and became very rude when questioned about it.

We were all just blindly referred to the Tata dealers without querstion and refused to right any info down saying "I am not here to do writing, that you can do yourself" Seriously, is that how you treat your customers?

Hi
I used DriveSure a few years ago and received good service. Needed them again recently and was met with unprofessional and worrying attitude:

1. Sceduled appointment with Siraaj (owner)

2. DriveSure did not show for the appointment - I phoned them, they said they had to order components from the agents, but did not think to phone me to reschedule the appointment, they then became very hostile:
- DriveSure arrogantly told me that if I am not happy with their service I should go somewhere else
- Drivesure lied to me and said they do not cater for my type of car - when I reminded that they actually cut a key for that same car before, their story changed
- DriveSure put the phone down in my ear
- 2 requests for Siraaj to phone me have been ignored

This was a minor misunderstanding, a simple apology from DriveSure would have been sufficient, but this spiraled into the equivalent of a world war. If this is their response to a simple issue, one has to worry about what will happen if there are real issues, like key coding issues etc.

There is no recourse when you encounter problems with this company, rather use the agents.
