These days, dealing with cars is stressful from the get-go. Let’s face it most of us don’t trust mechanics or the car business in general. But this place completely changed my outlook. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease and believe me, I’m not easy to please. Jacques brother, I didn’t get the opportunity to shake your hand when the work was done, but your team carried through with the same spirit you showed from the start when you weren't there. Thank you for the outstanding service! This Dunlop will definitely see me again in the future. Thank you for your excellent workmanship. Thank you for being honest and helpful. And most importantly, thank you for saving me money!

These days, dealing with cars is stressful from the get-go. Let’s face it most of us don’t trust mechanics or the car business in general. But this place completely changed my outlook. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease and believe me, I’m not easy to please. ZERO STARS. I went to the Goodwood branch for a wheel alignment and suddenly there were broken ball joints and crumbling control arms. They said that they are not able to put everything back together and that I have to wait until the next day for them to get the parts and quoted me R4,000. I spoke to a mechanic at my work and he said that it is BS, so he contacted them and told them to put everything back and we will go and fetch it. He had a look at it and there is NOTHING wrong. This is not the first time that they have done this to the company.

2 months ago I fitted 2 new 195 50 15 dunlop fm 800 at Tonnesen Goodwood And 2 weeks after that I fitted another two of the same brand on my car at Goodhope tyres Goodwood after speaking to one of the guys working there they actually thought me that each tyre have a date for when it was manufactured..... To my surprise Ive notice that the 2 tyres I fitted a Tonnesen is dated 2023 and at Goodhope tyres is dated 2024...i notice that 2023 is running off much quicker than the 2024 ones.... Am I being conded... By Tonnesen just wanting to get rid of old tyres and make money... Or is the 2023 dated tyres poorly manufactured... I trust and hope for a speedily answers.... for this is bad for business and consumer..... Thanks Neil

Service you can rely on
I took my car to Dunlop Goodwood to have some mechanical work done to my engine of my Golf MK1. I've been taking my car for years to them. As they are trusted to fix mechanics personnel cars in my experience. As murphy's law has it the parts was in short supply, load shedding struck, customer was all coming in wanting there cars servied same day ( customer not always right i noticed) and my vehicle had to be running by end of day . I put a huge challenge on their shoulders and factors that was outside there scope. At this stage i was irate. But nevertheless the manager and mechanic assured me my vehicle will be completed before end of day . I should have known but doubted. Yet once again Dunlop Goodwood overcome all these challenges and delivered. Once again I take my hat off. To your guys for great service. And will continue using Dunlop Goodwood for years to come. Thank you Dunlop for being such a trusted service.

LAZY HALF HEARTED WORKMANSHIP
Reputable well known fitment center - thinking about taking your car there for a service? rather try a backyard mechanic - you'll get better service for a fraction of the price. I've never experienced a lazier car service center than Tonneson Dunlop Zone Plumstead. I got back a filthy car that doesn't look or feel like it's been serviced at all. the big bright warning light that was on on my dash is still there, the technician saw it & thought it was 'normal' to be like that. they did however scour the car for small things that they could charge me thousands of Rands for- I think this is all they actually did. These people take absolutely no pride in their work & have no regard for your vehicle, only your money.

Thank you to Dunlop Zone Tonnesen! My battery was a complete write off and needed to be replaced. As a student (we all know the struggle) having to pay for a new battery was a big ask at the end of the month. Thankfully Monique was there to assist us and ensured that we got the best price. I'll definitely be back - just hopefully not too soon, now that I have a new battery. Also, super cool seeing a strong woman in a leadership role in a predominantly male-dominated industry. You go girl!

Thank you to Dunlop Zone Tonnesen! My battery was a complete write off and needed to be replaced. As a student (we all know the struggle) having to pay for a new battery was a big ask at the end of the month. Thankfully Monique was there to assist us and ensured that we got the best price. I'll definitely be back - just hopefully not too soon, now that I have a new battery. Also, super cool seeing a strong woman in a leadership role in a predominantly male-dominated industry. Treating clients like a number
After being a loyal customer for more than 10years I realized that loyalty does not mean anything at your Goodwood branch. I waited for 5 hours to fit my coilovers and no apology from the manager Mr Botha. And in front of me he ask one of his staff to help another while busy with me. After I have been at there branch since 8am.and when I told him I am not happy with the price of the job after he quoted me a price over the phone. He denied or can't recall that he has given me a different price. He then after that just treated me as a number. I will never ever refer any business to this company again nor do business again at tonnesen Dunlop zone.

Tyres & Fitment centre
WORSE experience/services and product! I bought 5 brand new kumho tyres of my car there was issues, the alignment and there was a slight shudder. After taking it in numerous times they couldn't get it right at the Diep River branch so I had to take it to Kenilworth. After a few months I couldn't stand the issue anymore and took it to a different tyre fitment centre. They said that the tires I bought - at least two of them - had a issue with the balance which was due to the manufacturing. A representative from the main supplier in of Kumho tyres was contacted - they received my details and would contact me .. I am still waiting! My lesson is don't buy Kumho tyres and don't go to Tonnesons fitment centre.
