Our experience with ECIA has been extremely disappointing. They fail to send brokers the necessary correspondence, which means clients do not receive the service they are entitled to. ECIA simply assumes that emails are sent to brokers so they can notify clients of premium increases. When clients raise complaints, instead of taking responsibility, ECIA shifts the blame to former staff members who have not been with the company for over 9 months. This lack of accountability and poor communication is unacceptable for a professional service provider.

Our experience with ECIA has been extremely disappointing. They fail to send brokers the necessary correspondence, which means clients do not receive the service they are entitled to. ECIA simply assumes that emails are sent to brokers so they can notify clients of premium increases. When clients raise complaints, instead of taking responsibility, ECIA shifts the blame to former staff members who have not been with the company for over 9 months. If I could rate it ZERO I would. They appointed an independent assessor to determine the damages to a vehicle that clearly should have been written off and left me stranded for 5 months without a car before the Insurer sent their assessor to determine the damages and then wrote the car off. Beware!! Check if your broker reports to this *********** place who deems themselves administrators before signing up! I have made a financial loss because of THEIR incompetence of R24 000 which they refuse to pay me back.

If I could rate it ZERO I would. Hi I need some advise and help... I have been in an accident 14th December... Details was sent to Ecia insurance.. By the 19th January the settlement amount was sent too me.. I had a shortfall off R35000... Insurance refused to pay until i paid that amount.. So i did contact the bank that i have my finance with they did say that once the insurance pay i can make arrangements to pay the balance... But insurance stil refused.. Until the 23rd February they agreed to pay.. But im stil waiting for proof off payment.. I am stil paying for a car that i do not have.. And i am stil paying for insurance... I am unable too even get another vehicle because im stil paying for a vehicle that as been written off... Whenever i call the insurance company they are unable too give me any information... Please assist

I really am frustrated due to the service the mentioned companies provided the past month. My car was stolen on the 21 September 2019 and made a claim 23 September 2019 CLAIM 92-65- NV SHIVAMBU because it was stolen over the weekend. I did notify my broker immediately. Every document required I provided and this is my first claim. they are dragging the process and keep billing be because the policy is not cancelled. First it was the cover of the car which they decided to use the lowest possible sum insured and said due to depreciation. Secondly the process took so long that I had to furiously ask what is happening and demand updates. I had to pass on the courtesy car because it was not arranged immediately every time I asked the question would not be answered ad when they finally decided to arrange it I was told as soon as they settle the car hire will be terminated which is a loss on my side because I included car hire in my schedule and waited over 23 days for them to assist. My second frustration is MFC keeps on asking my broker when will the payment be made how ever the response they and I get is they are waiting for funds to be released and I signed AOL over 2 weeks ago. In the AOL they included access amount of R8000 which I had access waiver of R9000, Wilna from Aruma said that Global motors will reimburse me that amount because I paid for it, however Wilna gave Global motors the incorrect bank account and it seems as if it is not a matter of urgency. I have been stressing and wasting money because I need this issue settled so that I can move on and have the car removed from my name. I need what is due to me because when they debited they had no issues. Regards Angry customer

My name is Ridwan Amod Shah and my experience with the East Coast Insurance Administrators & underwritten by Nzalo insurance services was the worst experience i ever had. I further will not or never recommend this company to any one. I was unfortunately involved in an accident on the 27th January 2018 on the N2 south bound near the Chesterville squatters in which my only vehicle that i owned, a Toyota Corolla Prestige was remained written off completely. A truck that belonged to K-Trans had driven into my car and about 12-13 other cars. In this accident i had lost almost my entire life. My car firstly that i took so much care for, that me and my wife use to travel to work with, that was use to transport my kids to school, that was used to do what ever was needed giving us peace of mind whenever stuff needed to be done. I also lost my laptop that got crushed, my wife cell phone and many other belongings that was stolen from my car by the residence of the squatters. My wife son and i that was in the vehicle had sustained some minor injuries to which we have recovered quite nicely. Then the nightmare started. Firstly, The such insurance company took almost 2 full months to settle the insured vehicle only because the last premium bounce due to having insufficient funds because of a little overspending during the beginning of school. To my knowledge a vehicle is only confirmed out of insurance if the premium returns unpaid for 3 consecutive months. In the interim we asked us to do the running around for de-registration forms and bank settlement figure and many other which infact was the brokers task. Nasty emails were being shared by the broker and myself. Then only to realize that my car was undervalued and that the said insurer is not going to settle the complete car. This has put me in a bigger situation. We were also advised that the said insurance company will wait for another 10 days after the dual debit goes through to them(for what i do not know). Payment was stopped for my car because the said insurance company was suppose to settle within February but did not. The entire month of march we had sent so many emails to the broker to in turn inform us of the proof of payment that was done to the bank but we had received no response. Only on Monday 2nd of April we received proof of payment. Now we cant get finance from any bank for a new vehicle due to all this problems. This is making our movements so difficult with everyday life. Secondly the truck company have done the damage now no one wants to take any responsibility for this action. I have called the trucking company and they refuse to assist but inturn to call their insurance company and their insurance company asked us to contact our insurance whom do not want to take head of anything. I have lost everything and now no one wants to cover me with anything. If the truck hadn't knocked into me i would have had no issues with any thing thus there would be no issues in my life. We are normal people that live life according to our needs and requirements but now bearing the brunt of other peoples mistakes.
