I paid Yolindi Burger of Easy UIF Claims the once off fee requested to claim UIF on my behalf back in June 2020 when Covid was still a pandemic. Due to my age, it would have been high risk for me to stand in line at the Department of Labour. Numerous promises were made by her but no UIF was paid to me. In June 2022, I eventually went to the DoL who informed me they have no record of a claim being instituted, but if I submit proof there was communication with the DoL within the first 12 month of losing my job, they would be able to start the claim process. I sent numerous messages to Yolindi and finally on 12 June 2022, she replied that her "contact" was busy with it. There were two further replies from her in the following days, but since then, nothing. She does not answer calls or reply to my numerous messages. The person that recommended Yolindi to me has also not received their UIF. I believe Yolindi is a scam artist and intend taking legal action against her. If anyone knows her address it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ,i would like to right about the uif ufilling callcentre ,the contact number is 0800 030 007. I have been promised so many times that my ufiling would be soreted when someone calls me back but i have not had a call back for more than a month. I have had the most horrible service and i fell as if the government has failed me yet. Why has the government launched this service if its completely useless. I would like a senior manager call me because when I call and a agent answers i dont get the help i expect. The agents are saying that i need to goto the labour center, i think they forgetting that there is such a thing of covid-19

This business provides a service in which they assist submission of UIF Claims for a fee of R650.00 once off. While I do believe the documents were sent through , the communication around the status of the claim is very weak and quite simply a cobbling of excuses to form a very poor story. From being very communicative while documents are being handed to her , there is then suddenly little to no communication further to that. When checking in on the claim , I would get promised a reply by XX date , and XX date came and went a number of times , and whatspps and phone calls went unanswered. I think it is my civic duty to forewarn others about this business , as it has been nothing but frustating for me to deal with. the UIF dept being slow to pay is one thing (and expected) but the person you have paid to be kept up to date with on this very claim - now also being unresponsive is simply too much to bear. The excuses are such that - whatsapp ,email not working , 'Oh I did reply , I didnt know it didnt go through to you ?? ' and when I ask her to forward me the said correspondance - nothing is forthcoming. She also states that she only got emails from me from XX date - and because there is so much other poor communication history - anything she says just doesn't warrant belief. Its much easier to just save yourself the R650.00 go to UIF offices yourself /use a reputable service , than have the absolute pain of dealing with Easy UIF Claims. Im now dealing with the claim on my own and hope that this is a warning to others. Forewarned is forearmed.
