I ordered an omelette and what I received was very disapointing. Two pieces of toast without butter. No filling in the omelette. When I complained I was told that all the restaurants in the duty free area belonged to one owner so it is no use complaining. I paid R150 for this tasteless omelette.

Very good food and generally good value for money (especially some specials). The burgers are very tasty, the whole chicken is delicious and not dry at all. The cheese ***** are yummy. Next to try is the pizza.

I am a usual customer of Ed's Diner. Usually the food is quite well prepared and the service is brought with a smile. Tonight however, we had some of the worst service I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We've waited for oud food for more than an hour. When we eventually got the manager to speed up the order - we received cold, uncooked and weird chunks with our food - while also receiving the wrong meal ordered. The waiter was not helpful at all and all of the waiters don't really know what is going on. I will never set foot in this restaurant again. I can see why there once amazing vibe is going down the drain. Poor management. Poor service. Very poor food. Don't try this place. You will probably not be impressed, as it seems they can't keep track when there are more than two or three tables being served. I am not sorry about this. You really have to learn about customer management and good quality service and food preparation.

Eds Diner Parkview Pretoria. They advertised local beers on special for R37 for 2. On Monday night 30 April we visited to drink a few beers but the manager refused to give us at that price saying the special has ended. Didnt even offered a round at the ADVERTISED price. I showed him the ad but he still refused. This morning 1 May they are still advertising the sam special. Pathetic!!!!

Waited about 30min just for just the drinks to arrive and then once we placed our order we had to wait another hour and a half for the food to come.

The manager only came to say that the over had just broke and that the pizza's will be another 10min. But the food was only brought to the table about 30min after the manager was there. One of our guests had to go and fetch her own glass of water that was asked for.

When the food arrived the one plate was cold and the one pizza came about 10 min after everyone else's came.

They tried to make up for it by taking the last pizza and the cold plate of food of the bill, so we did not have to pay for those, but all in all it was not a nice experience and i do not think that i will be spending any of my money at Ed's Diner Centurion again.

On 19 December 2016 5:30pm my husband & I went to Eds Diner in Parkview, not only was the platter we ordered teriible (Ribs & Chicken so well done, they were DRY, chewing the food resulted with pain in my temples which later developed into a headache.) the Manager on duty was worse.

i only manged to eat 1 rib & 1 chicken thigh before i gave up & called the manager, Thulani.

Its the experience with the manager that the worst. Thulani, i suppose is the the ground floor manager of Eds Diner at Parkview is either inexperienced, scared of the Cook or both.

Perpertually smiling, he refused to even check the food to confirm or refute our wild alleagtions even though the platter was still in front of him and refused to check in with the Cook. The ony explaiantion we got was that it has to be dry especially the chicken to avoid piosoning us - the ribs, it was the basting that made them dry!

if the basting makes their ribs dry, then they needs a few lessons from ANY Spur franchise on how to cook ribs.

The full price for the meal was still demanded though by Thulani and my husband was so irtitated that he paid & donated all the food we had bougt to the waiter that was serving us.

Thulani needs customer service training or a new job! i do not know what is the Cooks problem. keep an eye on your pot!

Disgusting Service
