Empoisal sewing machine no good
Unfortunately there is no option for a 0 star rating. Despite sending my Empisal in to be sorted out it came back minus the presser foot and still not working. My advice ... Don't touch this brand.

Empisal Overlocker 760C
What a disappointment with this piece of equipment. I am not a professional seamstress but do enjoy doing sewing. I bought this overlocker about three and a half years ago at Makro and have not had any joy what so ever. Nobody at Empisal even bothers to return calls which just goes to show how bad their products are. It is disgusting service. I will never buy Empisal again - it is useless and does not work at all - no matter what you do it does not have the right tension and it breaks the yarn all the time. I have spent days trying to get it to work - no luck. It should be removed from South African market.

Empisal sewing machine not good
I am giving one star as there is no zero star options. After using my brand new machine twice the tension went completely out. I cannot operate the machine. After emailing House of Living Brands there attitude is they will fetch it and it will take weeks to fix, and there is the possibility of me being charged. This is crazy. I want my money back. Please, do yourself a favour and don't buy Empisal. Not worth it.

Nothing they recommend helps, and at my expense I will have to take the machine in to get it sorted, hopefully. I am a pensioner, so this involves cost that I can barely afford. I will never buy Empisal again, and I will strongly recommend to others that you don't touch the brand. A heap of rubbish if you have to ask me. I had a Singer for years and never had a tension problem ever.

EMPISAL EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY!!!
I bought my wife wife an Empisal Dressmaker 120 A Sewing machine for R 1600 at Game Festival Mall in Kempton Park for a Christmas present last year. She only used it a couple of times when it started to give problems. The thread tensioner ceased to function, the needle kept on breaking and the thread also kept breaking. I returned it to Game for repairs under the 1 year warranty period. I went to collect it today after 4 weeks and to my dismay, when I returned home, discovered that they had not returned it with the bobbin case. Fortunately I have a spare one, so I proceeded to test the machine. After about 2 minutes the thread broke and discovered that the thread tensioner was not working again. I am extremely disappointed in the service that I have received from Empisal and I do not recommend that anyone purchase an Empisal as the quality is extremely poor. Seems like I'll be stuck with a broken piece of junk now as the warranty expires on 26 December.

Empisal brings out the best in our creativity.
I purchased an Empisal machine for my daughter for her birthday. It has helped her to unleash her creativity and we all got to use it recently when we were preparing our costumes for Comicon. It's so easy to use and understand and has so many functions that I still have to learn about. I wish they gave lessons when you buy a new machine because some of the more complicated functions can become clearer. However, Empisal is really a reliable brand and I'm proud of my purchase.
