This company has been very disappointing regarding my 2-pot withdrawal. I have been patiently waiting for my money to no success. I tried calling calling for 3 consecutive days but have been made to hold for over an hour at times. Their WhatsApp contact is useless because it provides no help at all. Their website is almost as useless because it doesn't allow us to check the status of our 2-pot withdrawal application. I'm very frustrated because I really need the money. If I could, I'd move my pension fund to another reliable company.

I am so disappointed about with this company and their employees who has been putting me pillar to post about my Two-pot withdrawal, I haven't received an answer about my money it's been two weeks trying to call them every day and they tell me stories lies. I have asked them to reverse the money to my statement so I can re-withdraw they told me they can't, if I was not desperate, I was not going to withdraw. Guys, please find out what happened to my money I need it. Hope for your sake I will get my money.

I've been trying several days to get hold of anyone at eppf, they let you hold the line for more than 30 minutes still with no assistance. I tried their digital communication platforms and self help service still no help. Their communication and service in general is very poor on all platforms.

I am in dismay, don't get me wrong I am delighted to see opportunities for students, Education is key. However, can Eskom make it make sense to me why would a child whose parent passed, and Monies were put in a Trust to assist with financial needs, my understanding is that the purpose of this Trust is to ensure that my son’s essential needs, particularly his education and well-being, are properly supported. Unfortunately, the decline of this request has resulted in his school fees falling into arrears, placing his education at risk. What is particularly concerning is that while the company is offering bursaries, it is unwilling to fund my son’s school fees using his own late father’s funds held in trust for his benefit. I find this difficult to understand, as the funds were specifically preserved to support him and secure his future. At present, I am unemployed and unable to support him financially on my own, which makes the Trust’s assistance necessary rather than optional. My request was submitted in good faith and aligned with the very purpose for which the Trust exists. I respectfully ask for a reconsideration of the decision, or a detailed explanation outlining why the request was declined and what requirements must be met for approval. My intention is simply to ensure that my son’s education continues without disruption. What makes it worse I when you have a claims administrator who from the tone in his voice shows disinterest, no sympathy no feedback in time. Death is a very delicate matter it can be after 5 years, and your consultants need to be reminded of this they must stop acting like messengers!

The unacceptable delay and conflicting information I have received concerning the processing of my claim which I submitted to the EPPF a month ago is shocking. When I initially followed up, I was informed that my documents had been sent to the Legal Department and that this was the first step in the process. However, upon following up, I was surprised and deeply disappointed to be told that my documents has not yet been sent to Legal. I was further advised that nothing can be done as the administrator who handles the claims is currently on leave. Really 🤬 What makes this situation even more frustrating is that when I asked for a turnaround time, no one was able to provide a clear answer. This lack of accountability, transparency, and urgency gives the impression that issues are not being taken seriously. Must this process really take years? the absence of clear communication only adds to the distress. I’m very disappointed that such a big company ESKOM does this. But we know this is South Africa they probably start with the people who paid a bribe 🤷♀️
