Bought the Essence 8h Matte comfort lip liner last month, I love the color and I am a first time customer. I am very disappointed. the product kept on breaking every time I twist it to bring it up, it has been less than a month and I use it once a day during the week in the mornings, it is finished already. I bought the product at our local clicks store and do not have the slip unfortunately but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who ha never used it before.

I purchased an Essence mascara at Clicks on 13 January, taking advantage of a promotion advertised in-store. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing because the mascara was extremely dry, as if it had been opened or used before purchase. On 26 January, I submitted a formal complaint regarding the product to essence website and the promotion, but to date, I have not received any acknowledgement or feedback from them. It is unacceptable for a customer query to go unanswered for this long. At the very least, I expected a confirmation of receipt or an update on the progress of my complaint. This lack of communication reflects poorly on the standard of customer service. I truly hope Essence beauty improves its response times and provides better support to customers who raise concerns. As a loyal shopper, I am disappointed by this experience.

To whom it may concern, I am writing with great concern and disappointment regarding a severe skin reaction I experienced after using the Essence Stay all day 16hr Foundation. I have always trusted the Essence brand and have purchased many of your products over the years without any issues. I previously used the Essence Stay all day 16hr Foundation and genuinely loved it, which is why I felt confident purchasing it again in December. However, after using the foundation recently, my face immediately began itching and burning. Unfortunately, this happened on the day of an important interview, so I could not remove the makeup right away. When I returned home and removed it, I was devastated to see red spots covering my face. I used Dove soap to remove the makeup, a product I have safely used for many years. I took an antihistamine in the hope that the reaction would calm down, but instead my condition worsened. My face continued to burn and itch intensely, and the redness did not improve over the following days. I am now extremely worried and unsure about what is happening to my skin. This experience has been emotionally distressing and has affected my confidence deeply. I do not feel comfortable leaving my home in this condition, and it has been very upsetting to look in the mirror and see my skin like this. I trusted this product and never expected such a reaction. I kindly ask that this matter be taken seriously and investigated, and I would appreciate guidance on how this issue can be resolved. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Wanted to share my frustration with you. I've had two defective Essence mascaras in a row and despite providing proof of purchase and photos, they've refused to assist. I'm shocked by their customer service and will not be shopping with them again.!!!!!!!!!!

Essence Cosmetics “The Super Balm Gloss Lip Treatment 01 Balmazing”: The formula itself is okay and feels okay on the lips, but the packaging is a huge letdown. Most of the product gets stuck and pushed up into the cap, which causes a lot of waste. It also tends to ooze out, making it messy and frustrating to use. You end up finishing the tube way too quickly—not because you’ve used it all, but because the packaging design doesn’t allow you to access the full product. Unfortunately, this makes it really poor value for money.

The most terrible nail varnish ! I forgot that I had tried Essence Nail Polish before and that it was the worst quality. I made the mistake of purchasing a bottle again - yes, the price is great - but the product is so bad ! Within a few hours the varnish was chipping badly. Will never make this mistake of buying an Essence product again .

So I decided to go over to Essence foundation. What a mistake and so disappointing. On the first day I started using it my whole face goes FLAKY...how embarrassing at work!Tried everything and day 4 just not using it anymore same thing happens. I would love to return your product as im highly disappointed. Product: I LOVE FLAWLES SKIN FOUNDATION

It doesn't matter what the price is of a product but whatever it is as a customer we pay for it and we should get what we pay for. This is the 3rd time that I've purchased The Lip Product Plumping lip filler What The **** And that's for real like what a **** it is, the product didn't even come half full,after only a few uses the entire tube looks empty , the same thing with their lip tints And Lip glosses. Essence does not fill their products 3/4 of the way in fact you will be lucky if you get anything close to 1/2 of the product in the bottle/tube. This isn't the first Time essence has let me down. I'm not going to waste money on these partially filled Makeup products.
