When choosing a wedding Photography please choose wisely
I am not one to shame another company or talk bad about them but in my experience, I feel like that maybe my review will help someone out there. If I could give a 0-star rating, I would 100% do that. My experience with ever after studios has been one off the poorest. When I got engaged I browsed through wedding Photography to see who will be the best and within my budget, and I came across Everafter studios, this was right at the beginning of their photography journey, they had just started their business when I booked with them for my 2025 Wedding at the time when I booked them it was around 2023 or 2024. They ask you to pay 50% of the cost to secure your date after we paid them the deposit to secure our date it was still early to talk about my wedding since it was like 1 year away. Fast forward to 2025 we began to discuss our wedding and making a shot list for them, when wanting to talk to them or change something we would always have to contact them in order to get answers there were usually no response within 2 to 3 day in which I needed to call or ask again to make changes to my shot list. My wedding was in October 2025 and with my wedding being a month away there was still no response from them and I had to ask them if they were still coming and how many of them will be their because I had to give my final numbers in which they confirmed that it will only be 2 of them joining. When my wedding day arrived I was busy getting ready in the bridal sweet when I still haven't gotten any response from them in which I decided to contact them to ask where they were and to which they responded on the day of my wedding to no sorry they will not be coming again due to things coming up and that there will be someone else shooting our wedding photos. Our wedding went smoothly but we paid them in full and ever since our wedding they up until now we still haven't received our wedding photos. Response and updates are really slow the people that we paid to shoot our wedding recently had a baby in which is really under stable that there will be some delays but the deadline was 3 to 4 months and there was a promise that was made we will get our photos before the 28th of February 2025 in which it never did. We were also given some hope that we will get it on the 9th of March 2025 in which we still haven't received anything and when trying to get in contact with them messages aren't even responded to or just ignored. I feel like when you run a company you must give your clients the best service to just reassure them and let them know when they will be getting their photos that they paid for and also just regular updates.

Dit voel asof ons die hele dag weer kan herleef elke keer as ons daarna kyk. Julle professionaliteit, vriendelikheid en moeite het regtig uitgestaan, en ons kon heeltyd ontspanne voel voor die kamera. Baie, baie dankie vir al julle harde werk – ons sal julle beslis aanbeveel! 🤍

We honestly could not have asked for better wedding photographers. From start to finish, they were professional, calm, and incredibly supportive. When our pastor was running a bit late, they were more than ready to step in and help, ensuring everything stayed on track and our day ran as smoothly as possible — which truly meant the world to us. We received way more photos than we expected, and every single one captured the emotions and special moments of the day so beautifully. We also absolutely loved getting sneak peeks shortly after the wedding — such a special touch that made the wait even more exciting! We are beyond happy with our experience and would 100% recommend them to any couple looking for photographers who genuinely care and go above and beyond. Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly 🤍📸

Our experience with Everafter Studios
We are sharing this review to document our experience with Everafter Studios so that other couples can make an informed decision. We booked Everafter Studios after viewing their Instagram content, which appeared professional. Initial communication was prompt. However, as our wedding date approached, communication declined significantly. On the wedding day, two individuals arrived at the venue, and we would like to state that we are very grateful to the photographer and videographer who showed up and did their best on the day! Their professionalism and effort are genuinely appreciated. It became apparent on the day that Everafter Studios had not communicated the details of our package to the photographer and videographer. Following the wedding, we received no communication or acknowledgement addressing these issues. Our contract stated that photos would be delivered within 15 days of the wedding. A few days after the event, we were informed via WhatsApp that the turnaround time had been changed to four months. We received nine sneak peek photos two days after the wedding. The remaining photos were only partially delivered four months and two days later, and only after repeated follow-ups. According to our package, we were meant to receive over 1 000 photos; however, to date, we have received approximately 600. In addition, the photos delivered appear to have minimal editing app****, largely consisting of a standard filter, rather than the level of individual editing we reasonably expected. We have also received only a limited number of family photos, which is REALLY disappointing given that a wedding is a once-off event. This review reflects our experience only. While we are thankful for the individuals who attended and worked on the day, based on our overall experience with Everafter Studios, we would not recommend this service. We strongly advise future couples to confirm all deliverables, timelines, editing standards, and communication expectations in writing before proceeding.

EverAfter Studios – Disappointing Wedding Photography Service I want to start by saying that this review is not written out of hatred or spite. I am sharing it to shed light on a truly disappointing service experience, while also acknowledging the suppliers who made our wedding day magical. To be clear from the beginning, the photos we eventually received are beautiful, and the photographer who took them did a great job. Unfortunately, our experience with EverAfter Studios as a company was deeply disappointing. We booked EverAfter Studios after seeing only glowing reviews online and on their website. At the time, we could not find any negative feedback, so we trusted them with such an important day. On the wedding day, the photographers we were expecting did not arrive. Instead, subcontracted photographers showed up, something we were never informed about beforehand. I had specifically requested a female photographer for myself and my brides****s, but a male photographer arrived instead. This was not his fault — he was professional and kind — but he had not been briefed on my shot list or schedule, meaning I had to direct him throughout the day. We paid for two photographers: one to cover myself and the bridal party, and another to cover the groomsmen and guests. However, we believe we have only received photos from one photographer. Key moments are missing, including the groomsmen getting ready and guest photos taken while we were away for our couple shoot. The delivery of our photos was also extremely delayed. We only received our gallery six months after the wedding, after repeatedly chasing the company. When it finally arrived, some photos were edited, but many were clearly unedited original images uploaded in bulk for us to sort through ourselves. We are still missing a large portion of our photos despite asking for months, and communication has now stopped completely. After I left an honest review on Instagram and tagged them, I was immediately contacted and asked how they could fix things. They sent raw files and promised the missing photos would be edited and delivered that same night. Shortly after, they untagged themselves from my post and returned to radio silence. I am sharing this review to warn other couples. Wedding photos are one of the only things you keep forever, and this has been an incredibly upsetting experience.

Terrible experience with EverAfter Studios
<div>I signed a contract with EverAfter Studios (South Africa) for them to do the photography and videography at my wedding in April 2025 in Cape Town. They subcontracted other photographers to show up on the day without informing me. The contract said delivery of content within 20 days of the wedding. Over-edited photos were supplied 2 months later. The video was only supplied 7 months after our wedding after constant begging, and being ignored. Phone calls and messages ignored. Our wedding video didn’t include certain content such as vows and speeches as promised (also in the contract) and we are now paying someone else to make a video (luckily we managed to get the unedited video content) We are still waiting for our physical wedding album which was also supposed to be delivered within 20days of the wedding. On top of all of these issues, the owner *** is full of every excuse in the book as to why things haven’t been delivered and refuses to take accountability or to rectify the situation without being begged. Very poor communication. Unfortunately what should have been an exciting experience has turned into my nightmare. I wouldn’t wish this on any other bride/groom and therefore I would not recommend this company. We are having to go the legal route to get our content.</div>
