Camesh Investments / EWC EXPRESS -Shocking Experience, Unprofessional, No Communication -dont answer phones/ only whats app /email begging them to reply. Impossible to get hold of. My experience moving a holiday home from a remote town in KZN to Pretoria was awful -You must always contact them and confirm details. They do not contact you. -All extra items submitted beforehand not looked at, when driver arrived spent hour analysing items until I proved showing emails/text messages and pictures of request sent ...then they will allow drivers to pack and a simple "sorry no one told me" -They do not forewarn you of final payments. -When the driver arrived he refused to load until full payment received - when I advised I wasn't prepared, no one had told me to pay final amount -they advised that "I should of read the fine print" - I have no problem with paying the full amount before- but a courtesy call or email preparing for the day should be done. -When paying cash, no receipts, I hand wrote a receipt on the back of a till slip and got the driver to sign it. -Will keep you running from atm to atm trying to draw cash, don't accept EFT payment on day. -After driving 5 hours from Durban to my Pretoria home through terrible weather and traffic conditions the truck arrived after me at 23hoo. The driver advised the R1000 short from cash I drew (that I agreed could be done in the morning as I had drawn my cash limit for the day) was due and he would not unload until it was paid. I did an EFT immediately, gave the proof of payment to the driver then he told me he could not offload as he did not have man power, the same 3 guys who loaded the truck.. -When I called the sales lady the phone was on loud speaker I overheard her tell the driver "I am a difficult client" -In the morning before they came to deliver again, I got an email advising I must pay extra R1500 for a bakkie or R500 for extra helpers as they had limited access, I had to send a photo of my free standing house and short driveway to prove it!! I arranged my own gardener and housekeeper to assist. Finally they offloaded. Absolute craziness!! Never again. Moving is stressful enough- avoid the drama with this company... I telephoned EWC and asked for the Despatch Manager. I explained the lack of service. He looked up the waybill number and asked if he could deliver immediately. This was at 17h00. Delivery was effected by 8pm. In all fairness I don't think he was aware of my hellopeter report. So kudo's to him.

According to their track and trace the goods were despatched on the 12/01, and then returned to their depot the same day. Nothing on the 13th. I phoned on the 14/01 and was asked if they could deliver on the 15/01. Guess what, still nothing. THIS IS AN EXPRESS DELIVERY COMPANY. If you can't deliver goods get out of the business.

My laptop was in for repairs at Let me Repair (George). On Monday, 16 March 2015 the device was dispatched in George - back to East London. Yesterday I phoned to track the status of my laptop, only to be told the laptop has been lost??? Lost by EWC Couriers somewhere between George and East London??? How does this happen??? I spoke to the owner, Benita, she apologized and said they will keep looking for my laptop but she thinks it has been lost.....I really do not understand this - how can you trust a courier company like this???

a parcel left Cape Town 24 February 2015. Arrived Johannesburg 25 February. Left Johannesburg 25 February. Will only arrive in Polokwane 2 March. Got some sort of explanation of an \agent"that can only deliver on Monday? I told the person at client services that it was not really good service (taking longer from Jhb to Polokwane than from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Not really helpful. I did say I was going to post on hellopeter but she did not really care.

ewc express is almost as fast as a Transnet train. (but not yet)

Theuns """
