Do you know that Builders Tokai is refusing to replace a Zodiac item that was bought TODAY??? Promising that a technician will come out.. For a brand new product?? Are you even still operating and are there techs available and working 4 days before Xmas???? You answer me that Zodiac???? Whats your returns/manufacturers policy?? Do the guys at Builders Tokai know it??? Your the pool guys and I will have a dirty pool over Xmas!! I am so not gonna hold my breath for the Zodia pool products guy!! I am livid!!!

I purchased a Zodiac G6 pool cleaner from Makro about 2 years ago. This was not a bottom of the range pool cleaner and I had high expectations for it. However it has never worked well- always stopping and always lifting so that it does not move. I contacted Zodiac customer care department to report my unhappiness with their product and they told me that they would charge me a call out fee to come to my home to check their product. What an absolute cheek that I have to pay them to come and check their terrible product. Very poor service and and even poorer product. They cant even stand by their products which they sell. I will never buy another Zodiac pool product again!!!

I bought an MX6 pool cleaner from Makro Centurion on 23 October 2025 and the machine broke in 2 days. I reported the matter to Makro and they directed me to Zodiac customer care for assistance. All I can say is that the products is just as bad as the customer care and despite having a warranty you are expected to troubleshoot and/or fix the machine yourself. I have since lodged a formal complaint and I will be taking this further.

We are used to getting good service from Zodiac but deeply disappointed this time. They could not get a Ax20 working in our pool and then blamed our pool. I asked a very valid question which they don't want to answer as they know their product is the issue but don't want to acknowledge or resolve it. In clear contradiction, the predecessor of this product, the mx-8 elite, worked perfectly in our apparently too big of a pool. This completely invalidates their report in my view. How did the predecessor work perfectly but it's replacement model does not. Please could this be explained to us, as we need to understand the subsequent rejection. I simply want them to clearly explain to me why the predecessor worked fine or they should rewrite their report indicating that their product has an issue and correct it. I truly valued the past amazing service but feel very let down this time. Life is hard enough, and we just wanted our pool cleaning to be easier. Not nice of you to not reply to a reasonable question. It hurts my feelings.

Bought a Zodiac G6 Kreepy for my pool. * Stops at least once every 15 mins, with a leaf stuck in its throat. * Does not cover the entire pool floor, sticks to cleaning maybe 1/6 off pool. A pool cleaner The Zodiac G6 is not !!!

Extremely happy with the Zodiac G6. Quality product from the cleaner to the pipes. Covers the entire floor of my curvy pool including the walls. The only area where it gets stuck is in the corner of the steps. So far very happy customer.

Purchased a Zodiac Pacer pool cleaner from Builders during July 2024. The product worked really well until February 2025, when I noticed that it wasn't working effectively and seemed to be dragging and discoloring of the pool surface...after some online investigations seemed to point to the diaphragm that would require changing. Went to Builders with the product to confirm and the staff member from the pool section could not effectively diagnose whether it was that or not - so I decided to purchase the AIB long life diaphragm anyway, installed it and the Pacer started to work again but not for too long...barely a month later the dragging got worse and the damages to the pool surface was increasing. I logged a complaint with Builders and they had the people from Fluidra contact me. After a few back forth trouble shooting emails, video clips of how the Pacer was struggling to move although pulsing - I was asked to get a water test from Builders and then was immediately advised that the warranty will not be honored due to the water test results! Reading the other reviews and engagements with Fluidra around this very same issue on Hellopeter - the response seems the same, blaming the water quality impacting the foot pad. This is really disappointing as it seems like the standard response from Fluidra to not honour the warranty. If this issue is prevalent with so many customers then should Fluidra not check the quality of the product...unless the intent is increase its profits by requiring customers replace the foot pad at a cost of R661 at Builders ( half the price of the entire kit with the head unit and pipes). If a few months is the actual lifespan of the product then its not worth the money, rather look at other products that have better quality! Truly disappointed!
