Foolproof Entertainment - Whanie Lewis
In all honesty. I am sadden by the company Foolproof Entertainment managed by Whanie Lewis and Laurissa Savage. They are a utterly disgrace to the young people of Port Elizabeth. They are stealing from the young people and threatening them with contracts that has been drawn up by the lawyer and producer Laurissa Savage who obviously will side with Foolproof Entertainment as she is part of the team. Foolproof Entertainment uses young peoples talent without giving them recognition or compensating them for the hours of work they put in. They always runs competitions that require applicants to pay an application fee but the competition Always runs death with no outcome and refund. They are now trading under IRON ROSE Foundation which they claim to be a non profitable company to fraud people. I really had high hope for this company as I looked up to the young couple that we believed will make an impact and difference in the life's of the young people in Port Elizabeth. They are just dishonest and thieves and use their titles to misuse people.

Foolproof bunkum
My son, a young, post-graduate movie actor/director, recently entered the Short Film Competition run by Foolproof Entertainment in Port Elizabeth. He was the only contestant in PE who met the requirements as briefed - the others either dropped out or were disqualified. Yet Foolproof refused to declare him the PE winner and pay him his prize money. Never mind the time, effort, materials, actors and costs involved. This is not sour g****s but more like breach of contract. He questioned this and received a whole lot of incoherent communication, in which a whole of other factors and rules were introduced, basically ducking and diving. I contacted Foolproof Entertainment to appeal their decision with no response. It appears the competition was fraught with confusion and was extremely badly organised and managed. Is this the image of the film industry in SA? If you are business looking to make a commercial, documentary or film, I'd say avoid Foolproof and I strongly urge aspiring writers, actors, filmmakers/directors to stay clear of these inept fools.

Absolute Poor Service and No Product Delivery
I feel as a fellow professional photographer, I need to point out the poor services and quality I have received from Foolproof Entertainment which promises the best quality for our special day. Their communication is poor and their customer service and service delivery is horrible. On top of the point of one of their liaison, by the name of Candice, who had communicated with me being a complete racist in her remarks toward me as a customer and had no concept of how to professionally communicate with their clients. Firstly the contract stated that it would be a 2 week waiting period to receive our package, it turned to be a nearly 2 month wait and no package was received instead photos were given via a wetransfer link and not on DVD as specified. Secondly the quality of the photos were not entirely up to standard as quite a number of them are blurry or feet have been cut off or simply extremely dark or overexposed. Its almost 4 months in waiting now and with no communication from them at all regarding our videography which we paid a huge amount for. No communication on delivery or any of the sort and the videography was the main item I wanted out of our wedding. The photographer from Foolproof Entertainment continues to just read my messages and blue tick me while not giving any feedback at all regarding our package delivery and we are still awaiting any or all the videos which have been taken from the wedding. I normally would recommend people to businesses but in this case I would recommend against using Foolproof Entertainment at all.

Foolproof Entertainment Provides Poor Service
Its now over 2 months in the waiting for what should have been 2 weeks as per the contract signed by Foolproof Entertainment for us to receive our packages we had paid a total of R14 000 for. As promised from the contract we are to receive: -2x sets of the highlighted film of the Wedding Day (coverage of pre-prep, wedding day and reception -1x DVD with minimum of 250 (Pre-prep, wedding day and reception) Our wedding was on 1st May 2021 and we received a message on 17th May 2021 stating that our package is almost ready and will be posted to us soon. On 25th May we were requested our postal address as the package was ready and will be sent. Weeks went by and still no package and when requesting a tracking number, we were provided with they will send us digital photos to speed up the process which we have received however no video was provided which we paid R8500 for. Over 2 months have passed and still no package has arrived, we luckily received our photos however some of the photos we received were rather blurry and low quality and we have not received our video at all. When attempting to communicate with the photography or his assistant we receive no feedback at all. No one is responding and there is no trace of our package. I would rather recommend that no one make use of their services as their communications skills are poor, they don't seem to know how to deal with their clients and their service delivery is poor.
