Very disappointing
Initial contact was smooth, the site visit and the advice seemed to be sincere. It took a few weeks to get a suitable quote, after deposit payment work was promised to commence soon, immediately, after the deposit payment we started to get notifications of our outstanding account, while nothing was installed!!?? after quite some time the installation finally started, and was suppose to finish in 5 days, it took 2 weeks to do the installation, but a month to get it all connected and “operational”. They never managed to get the camera features of Intrusion and line crossing working. After a few days the gate operation stopped working, it took two week and many contact attempts to get them out to investigate the reason. During the repair visit the technician changed all the passwords of our Camera’s and NVR so we no longer had admin access to our own equipment. After several denials they finally provided the true passwords, unfortunately not for the camera’s… Now they stopped responding to emails and phone calls. Would we have requested a quote with another supplier could have saved around R 10,000.00 and loads of frustration. The most frustrating is that they do not understand the importance of supplying security equipment, this country in unsafe especially and we need security camera’s and intercoms to work as per expectation,

Poor poor service

Poor after sales service
I bought expensive CCTV cameras from Forbtech in New Redruth. With the purchase everything went smoothly and I was impressed. The cameras were the wrong type and not suitable for my purpose. Forbtech just refused to swop it for the correct cameras as per their company policy because it wasn't sealed in the box anymore. I think it is poor customer service and will therefore never support them again.

Bad service and equipment!!! Stay away!!!
Since installation I had ongoing problems with this company. Starting with their sloppy work, leaving your business in a absolute mess where they worked. Once installation is done and they received their money, trust me you are left by yourself, they do not answers your calls, or mails, and not replacing their faulty equipment. Also they are not keeping to any promises or appointments!!!! And then you get called a difficult client, this is how they discuss you with their co-workers, as one of their own workers told me I get called the full of **** client in office. If your installation was professional and your equipment working then surely I have nothing to complain about!!

A very reliable efficient IT company. They resolves issues timeously and professionally. They are permanently upgrading their technology used internally to improve the way in which they can resolve issues with the minimum delay possible and always keeping their clients up to date on progress. Most issues get resolved remotely, other on site and they have the most upstanding friendly team of Technicians. Overall good experience from all their employees, right from the top whilst dealing with Wayne, all the way through from technicians and accounts. For a reliable IT company who covers everything from PABX to copiers, PC's anything IT related you will not go wrong with Forbtech which is continuously expanding and branching out.. from personal experience 5 star from me...

Good ICT service
My organisation has been with Forbtech since 2015. Products provided are Telecommunications, VoIP, Network Cabling, IT Support and Internet services. We are very happy with the services and support we receive from them. I would recommend Forbtech for overall ICT to any organisations from SMME to Enterprise.

Good ICT service

We are very happy with the services and support we receive from them. I would recommend Forbtech for overall ICT to any organisations from SMME to Enterprise.

After being problematic involved with a number of service providers in the telecommunications, data and surveilance industry I am finally able to enjoy products and service that enhance the day to day functionallity in our company which comply and exceed the service delivery as promised with quality products as per presentation and contract.
