So disappointed and unhappy about Ford Port Shepstone. When they want your money they go over and beyond till they have it then they give you a big toffee. Their after sales service sucks, their staff after sales so rude. I know people all over South Coast has complained about them, and hoped it would get better but it doesn't. I so wish the vehicle I bought was available from another FORD dealership and not Halfway Port Shepstone. Your branch needs to seriously stop this bad service and bs you putting clients through, KARMA will come and one day the wrong client will come your way. You giving South Coast and especially FORD a bad NAME!!!

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the team at Halfway Ford Port Shepstone, and in particular to Linda Naidu and her team, for the outstanding service I recently received. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost professionalism and care. After explaining that I am self-employed and live approximately 33 km from the dealership, I was offered a courtesy vehicle without hesitation — no arguments, no excuses, and no suggestion that only "VIP customers" are entitled to such consideration, as I’ve unfortunately experienced at other Ford dealerships in the past. A special thanks goes to Eric who took the time to drive with me so he could personally hear the issue with the vehicle. His willingness to listen and understand the problem firsthand made a real difference. Throughout the day, Linda kept me informed, updating me on the vehicle’s progress and letting me know in advance that it would only be ready the following day. I also appreciated being cc'ed in her request to Lindiwe and her team to provide me with quotations for an extended warranty and service plan. I received a response from Lindiwe the very same day, with all the requested information — a stark contrast to my repeated, unanswered requests to NMI Ford Pietermaritzburg, dating back to 2024 and again in January 2025. The entire experience was seamless, professional, and far beyond what I expected. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to customer service. Please pass on my gratitude to Linda, Lindiwe, the technician, and the rest of the team at Halfway Ford Port Shepstone. They have not only restored my confidence in the Ford brand but have set a standard of service that should be recognised and celebrated.

20 October 2023 I purchased a motor vehicle from Halfway in Portshepstone, it’s a Hyundai creta 1,5 2021 ( it came with 70 000km ). Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because it has issues with the boot , lights notifications, mirrors not folding when , interior lights, tyre pressure ( which was sorted ) I took it to Stanger Hyundai and mechanic inspected my vehicle and agreed to fix the problem under warranty, however, when I collected the vehicle and started using it again, the problem was still there. I had to take it back again for inspection and they said they’ve studied the manual and not finding the issue if it’s the wiring or what so they advised me to take to Halfway where I bought it to fix it for me. I have proof of messages, calls reporting to my dealer, even to the manager. I would appreciate it if you could organise to have the problem fixed/use another repairer to fix the problem before end of August . As I am sure you can appreciate, I rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional cost (I have kept the receipts as proof). It has been stressing me out in a way that I want to take it back before at the end of the month instalment is debited. It hasn’t finished even a year since I bought but it has been booked/fixed maybe 3 times or more if I’m not mistaken. I still don’t have the service book. I look forward to settling this matter amicably. If, however, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved by end of August. I will consider taking further action to resolve the complaint either through Consumer Protection or through the courts. I feel like I’m being taking advantage of because I’m young woman and I’ve been so patient with them with a car I bought loving. I am not a pundit when it comes legislative framework governing the sales and purchases of automobiles, however I do feel that some of my rights as enshrined in Consumer Protection Act (CPA), (68 of 2008), were deliberately and vehemently violated. Furthermore, the profiteering motive depicted by the salesman it deeply deprived me a right to the quality of a product that I desired. CPA warrants consumers a right to return defective or faulty products, and with my case I strongly feel there was infringement of this right, because the salesman made a mendacious commitment that a car will be fixed, but to date that commitment has fully materialised. It shall also be placed on records that I do feel an advantage was taken on me , on the basis of inexperience with car mechanics, car dealership and also **********ic approach was vastly at play. Bait-and-switch which is an ********* business practice was explicitly practised by this salesman in cahoots with the company. Yours faithfully VS Xulu

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Halfway Ford Port Shepstone. If I could give them a rating of negative 0, I would. Lindo Ndlovu, the salesperson who assisted me, provided the worst service imaginable. He was never available when I called the dealership, and I was repeatedly told he was not there. When I did manage to get hold of him, it was just one excuse after another. I caution anyone considering this dealership to think twice. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

Extremely unprofessional and poor after sales service. I purchased a new vehicle in December 2023 and the process to purchase was extremely complicated. The OTP was incorrect and a lot of extra's were added on without my consent (this delayed the release of the vehicle as the OTP had to be amended twice to remove items that I did not ask for). Furthermore, to date (in January 2024) I am still waiting for my vehicle registration to be completed as I live in Gauteng. I have waited over 45 days and still no resolution. The salesman was not knowledgeable on Ford products. Efforts to contact the salesman and dealer principle were fruitless. Emails go unanswered or false promises to get back to me. I do not recommend supporting this dealership. There are way better dealers out there.
