DO NOT TAKE credit with these loan sharks! I opened an account with them in 2021 or 2022. I fell behind on my payments and got handed over to their debt collectors. They started calling every second of the day. I would answer no less than 20 calls a day. They apparently do this to charge you for phonecalls. A debit order was set and it deducted until the funds were paid in total. However, a year later I started receiving calls stating that there is money still outstanding. I went to a TFG to ascertain this and I was told an amount of +-R300 was due. I tried to pay this and the store assistants refused and stated that are barred from doing this by management. I have recently started receiving the unending **** CALL AGAIN. TFG YOU ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH LOANSHARK TENDENCIES. I WOULD WARN ANYONE AGAINST DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU
I financed a vehicle with ABSA in 2021 for a term of 60 months. In late 2023 I temporarily lost employment and could not make my regular payments. In January 2024 I received a call from their attorneys who facilitated a payment arrangement to catch up with my overdue payments. As I was making the regular payments and depositing the agreed amount to catch up on my arreas, I received a call from one of ABSA's tracing agents who told me a judgement had been passed on me and the bank was legally able to repossess the car. ABSA refused to allocate the amounts I had been making to catch up with my arreas and refused to communicate with me. Over the months I has been bul****, bribes requested for me to keep the vehicle from tracing agents. I was then stopped violently by a person who refused to give me his name, who then called the Sheriff and presented a printed copy of the judgement .The vehicle was repossessed in 2026 January and sold at auction. It has been months and ABSA still refuses to send me a final statement which states how much the vehicle was sold for and all other transactions related to the sale of the vehicle. I have emailed the bank a number of times to no avail. This is a horrible bank that bullies ordinary consumers like myself and I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS HORRIBLE BULLY OF A BANK!!! YOU HAVE RUINED MY LIFE ABSA!
Pathetic customer care service, tried booking my car in for service via telephone , the call was dropped multiple times.
I ordered a pizza on 02/10/2021 from Shop No 3 Times Square Cnr 5Th Avenue &, Heugh Rd, Walmer. The delivery man arrived with a speed point with a dead battery and promised to go back and fetch one that does work. As expected, he did not return. I would not recommend purchasing your pizza from this company.
Amidst the deadly Covid-19 pandemic, the bus drivers were not wearing masks which to some extent reduces the chances of receiving or transmitting the virus to others. Passengers also followed suit and took their masks off as there was no one to ensure that masks are worn at all times. From Durban to Cape Town, if someone is sick, most of us will be infected. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER TAKING THIS BUS!
I have just signed up to Naked, after receiving tons of calls from other short-term insurers. Signing up is seamless, Prices are very competitive and support is excellent.
Applied for vehicle finance 3 weeks ago, sent in all the necessary documentation, however I have not received a response whether the deal has been approved or declined. When I call to enquire I get sent from pillar to post. Really disappointed with the quality of service (or lack of) received from Standard bank, especially since all my accounts are with them.
Consultants are rude, dismissive and you hardly ever find the parts you're looking for. Do not waste your time with these people
